If you have good fundamental shares, it helps you to sleep better bcos it is boring. But the rewards would be better in long term. Share investment is about patient, and more patient. QUOTE(cherroy @ Apr 22 2008, 09:51 PM) Future price is not RM0.16. So, should I assumed that it only convert from low price to high but still maintain the total money that I've invest before(14.08x0.78 equivalent to 44*0.25)? In theories, I'm not losing anything right? And I need a suggestion, if you face the same thing, what will you do? Stay or sell? or there's something else to do? If the final share price of the stock before it carries out the proposal is RM0.25, it will become around RM0.78 on the first day listing. But your 44 lots become 14.08 lots only. But with the news of massive capital reduction come out, tomorrow its share price will under some pressure. QUOTE(cherroy @ Apr 22 2008, 09:57 PM) Still a question I keep wondering why Huaan want to list in Malaysia? considered that it is not a Malaysia based company nor having interest or business in Malaysia. Got some relationship with Antah? N.S. royal family owned. Huaan's plants start to operate in mid 2004, but listed ( took over fr Antah ) in Mrach 2007.Also, consider that it can list in China or HK which easily can chalk up higher price at IPO there. No doubt based on its financial result, it looks good. I believe it is not easy to list directly in HK or China if their operations are less than 3 years. It is relatively unknown in Malaysia either ( not discovered by others yet ), and most people want to wait and see first, like the Sapcres case. Risks Change in political, economic and regulatory in China could materially and adversely affect Huaan's business operation. Notwithstanding, Huaan will continue to focus on its core business and evaluate new business opportunities that arise. The Group will also seek to minimize its business risks through inter-alia careful contractual terms, adopting prudent credit policy and regularly monitors its cash flow. Reliance on the steel industry in China. The largest market for Huaan's metallurgical coke is the steel industry in China. Growth in production of metallurgical coke augurs well with the China's economy because of potential strong steel demand which is used across various key industries. Any decline in th e demand for steel may affect the demand for Huaan's products. Nevertheless, China's economy is expected to grow resiliently at 8% annually. Competition. Huaan is operating in a competitive coking industry and its competitors include independent coke suppliers, coking plants set-up by steel manufacturers and coking plants set-up by coal mining companies. Huaan's strategy is to constantly meet and improve on fulfilling customers' needs and requirements. Additionally, Huaan is operating in close proximity to coal suppliers and major steel manufacturers, thus, yielding efficient stock availability and distribution channels which is an added advantage. Investment Case Coke production is highly reflected by future dynamism of the steel market. China's metallurgical coke industry is likely to correlate with the steel industry which bodes well with Huaan's business operation. The demand for steel in China is expe cted to continue to increase (Growth drivers: Rapid urbanization projects, Summer Olympic 2008, Shanghai Expo 2010 and the 3 Gorges Dam) and therefore, we expect Huaan's production to be easily absorbed by the market. The only listed company with operations entirely in China. Huaan's business operation is insulated from any deceleration of the economy or slowdown in the property and construction industry in Malaysia. On the other hand of Huaan's target market, China offers bigger and more promising market potential with stronger GDP growth momentum expected at an average rate 8.5% from 2006 to 2010 and 8% from 2011 to 2015. Earnings growth of 27% CAGR to be underpinned by a 50% increase in production capacity from 1.2m MT to 1.8m MT p.a by FY09. Further margin improvements can be expected as production efficiency improves with economies of scale and savings in cost. My type of investment method is different from yours. I do not look for heavy weight blue chips. Instead I look for cheap light weight chips with low PEs, but track records might not be good compared to your blue chips. Normally, if i buy , i prefer to buy 10,000 shares to make the real impact to justify my research. 1 or 2 lots would not be justified my time for it, I have a normal job to take care too. Just for sharing. Not asking anyone to buy. This post has been edited by SKY 1809: Apr 23 2008, 09:04 AM |

So price might fall.Tq Sir P/s: Luckily this thread has so many expertise and veteran to help a beginner like me .. Don't mean to suggest anything (buy or sell). So judge your own. |
