Over the last couple days, I have moved the site from sleepers.net to thebigboss.org on new servers. While a lot of links and content may be lost, this was something that had to be done. I will still be updating the site at this location in the future.
I have had a lot of questions on this. I did not leave the community. The repository and apps are still going strong at the same domain they’ve always had. Previously, my domain, (http://thebigboss.org) was routed to sleepers, but now its routed to my own server. That’s it! Over the last 6 months, I have changed servers many times and usually no one notices. In this case, however, I am no longer updating the sleepers blog and am instead doing updates here. Other than that, it is business as usual. I did normal site updates last night and a new app was released (Look for LogoMe by planetbeing).
iTalk(For a limited time, iTalk is absolutely free!)
Griffin Technology released a free recording app for the iPhone and iPod Touch called iTalk. Along with the iPhone app they have also released iTalk Sync a desktoptool for Mac and Windows that allows you to easily transfer your recordings to your desktop.
iTalk lets you record, pause, resume and append to existing recordings, manage the list of your recordings, and add text notes, all on the touchscreen of your iPhone or iPod.
iTalk Sync is a dedicated app you run on your Mac or PC that searches your Wi-Fi connection to find any iPhone or iPod touch that’s running iTalk. It lets you drag recordings from your iPhone or iPod to your computer’s desktop. Recordings are saved as high-quality AIFF files, which you can play in iTunes or other media player.

QUICK UPDATE: We’ve temporarily pulled the application out of the iTunes Store, but will have a new version up shortly. We were recently alerted to a bug in Apple’s firmware v2.1 that affects a small number of applications during the uninstall process. Unfortunately, our app fell into that group. Because we’re unsure as to when Apple will be able to fix the bug in its code, we decided to create a workaround for our app. The good news is, we already have a new version submitted, and we look forward to getting it out to you at the iTunes Store or at apple.com/itunes/.
i would like to know is there anyway that we can download games and apps for iPhone 2.1 version without downloading it using cydia or installer. My Phone are blank after upgrading from 1.4 to 2.1 version.
1) Setup an US iTunes account. Follow the link below.
Mplayer is a very nice movie player which supports different formats like: mpeg4, h.264, wmv, mp3, aac, wma, real media, and t-dmb formats. Just put your media fils to /private/var/media and enjoy. The mediaplayer has been ported by skiman100 and is available in the category “Multimedia” of Cydia through the ModMyi.com repo.
