I've got a question,
Why do the fur of some Roborovski hamsters look wet? Is it a disease or some sorta complication? I've noticed this condition in the pair of Robos that I've kept and also many at pet shops I've visited.

Just curious, how do you know if your female is on heat?

Hmm, been watching this thread for couple of days now and I guess I'll be posting periodically now that I'll be getting a Sapphire male Winter White from Jayniel. Went down to Pet's Family today and got 6L of Breeder Celect cat litter and Prestige/Harry Hamster food mix. Sadly, the food isn't sold there so I guess I'll head over to Pet Safari at The Curve. QUOTE(-Nos- @ May 5 2008, 09:05 PM) Prestige mix habritraill or Harry Hamster mix habritrail should be enough. Pet Safari just stock in 300g prestige and dont have Harry Hamster. I think u head to PetShack or Petlovers to have a look for the foods supply is better. You got we wrong, I actually meant I was getting either Prestige or Harry Hamster food mix(many different kinds of seeds and nuts hence the word 'mix').

QUOTE(sangels @ May 5 2008, 09:47 PM) Jayniel meant, in simpler English(I thought the English she used is simple enough),'I hope to produce pups with the same characteristics as nezu's pups so I'll have fun seeing them everyday' which literally means that she wishes to produce her OWN pups and not nezu's pups.

Jayniel, provide bathing sand for your Roborovskis, their fur seems oily.
And that WW male will be mineeeeeeee.
On a side-note, why do people enjoy making their hamsters fat? A fat human isn't a healthy human and a fat animal isn't a healthy animal. Hamsters any different? Correct me if I'm wrong.
