I am surprised to watch Astro on my pv80h. The PQ is excellent. I have seen many LCDs and Plasmas in showrooms and never see such good PQ in my panny. I am really impress.

abahwafi, go get pv80h if you are frequent Astro viewer!

I've tried using Dell XPS with HDMI connection to PV80h in Sunway Pyramid during the roadshow. The picture is good.
But on action fast moving movies, the picture not so smooth. I suspect it's the notebook problem, because it's running on vista and many times hang.
The resolution is correct for sure on pv80h.

Sorry, havent's try that yet, because the Panny HT-465 home theatre not here yet.
Should be receiving it this week.

HT-465 is the end lowest range models with 2 tower speaker and 2 small speakers and 1 centre speaker.
It comes with 1080p HDMi upscale and ipod dock and USB port.

Err bro, i think panny 50" full hd shuld be around 17k because the current panny 50" full hd is around that price.

when PV70 was newly launched, my friend bought it for rm4700 after all the discounts and cash vouchers. this is not even counting the cash rebates and points after that he will get. This was at Jusco Members day sale in 1U last year. I was there with him. The discount showed 5% but an hour later, they changed it to 10% off plus 10% cash vouchers, the price was unbeatable,=. you could have interest free payments as well. nothing extra to pay.

hn called again, they gonna delever the unit tonigh.... but the salesman cancel my free panny hdmi n svideo. what lah!!! will upd what in the box.....
