Joy and happiness! My PV80 just arrived a few hours ago and I am still messing around with it. Played some DVD9's (on my new Philip upscaling player) and it's total awesome-ness.
Can't say the same for Astro though, a bit blurry, for lack of a better word.
O HD gurus of Low Yat.Net, will thou advise on how to improve it?
Does thou thinketh Monster Cable will help?
I am the pioneer owner of PV80h. I got it during the launch of this model. I bought it @ RM4.3kCan't say the same for Astro though, a bit blurry, for lack of a better word.

Initially I was using a cap ayam s-video. Astro was unacceptable picture quality (but still better than LCD)
Then I bought a monster s-video and wa-la! the picture quality improved!
When you connect the cables you already can feel the build and solidness. The shielding is strong to reduce interference and noise.
The connector head is 24k gold and it will avoid corrusion.
That's the reason why I am bringing in the monster cables to sell, because I know it will definitely make our audiophile forumer happy.
Now you don't have to pay with your arms and legs for a monster cable.
I am selling it at 1/3 of the normal retail price. The stock will be arriving this week. I left 2 units available (8 reserved for Batch #2)
The first batch of 10 units was snapped up within a week.
If you are a person who appreciate quality, then monster cable will be your choice.
