Hey guy, I need your help to tell me which car should I go?

The price range car around now is, Toyota Altis 1.8G(RM117,900) , Honda Civic 1.8s (RM110,678) and Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0GT ( RM115,980.00). Which car should I go for? I had already get all the specs of those 3 car and I see Honda Civic and Lancer 2.0GT is better Altis while why the altis more expensive? I'm finding a long lasting car and also average in performance..

brand new car all 3 also good. got free service and warranty why u worry ?

unless u thinking bout resale value or spare parts and maintanence pricing.

Altis is more expensive because the 'T' badge is more expensive than the other two badge.

If you don't mind the long waiting perid, get the Lancer 2.0 GT.

is that mean you already answer me? Proton also got free service and warranty. Why I dun choose proton?

Performance wise - Honda Civic
Cabin quality - Honda Civic (maybe wrong)
Looks - NOT Toyota Corolla Altis

Cabin quality? Me just 22 age, and corolla inside look too old to me. While honda civic, inside cabin look cool. While lancer, I didn't see inside before.

You can go to their owners forum, most said power is ermmm... probably because of CVT.

i changed my view haha. still prefer the civic over the outdated design of the altis. although altis provides more stuff.

anyway, go for lancer GT if you want something different since there's too many civic now. but if u prefer something good to drive, get the civic.

and there's no poll to choose between the 3.
3 also worth the money, 3 also got re-sale value, but 2 got better re-sale value. thats the civic and altis. havent seen lancer's 2nd hand value yet.

toyota and honda both got service cons. i own both. what do u wan me to say ? dont buy honda or toyota becoz their service centre suks ? that'll only leave u with the lancer option and hence u can go for the lancer.

for the weight of Lancer, it is over weight, with the 18" rims sommore, it is the worst 2.0 sporty car

But I see in term of horsepower and torque, altis is the lowest.

Civic interior is nicer. Hehe..

18" inch rims is too much.. I forget this point. 18inch rims, that tire is expensive. mean the maintaince is high...

Besides, the Lancer 2.0 GT have a special fabricated sporty leather seats which are made of premium Nappa leather

about the tire.. can trade in or change to 17" rim still look
after change better FC also..

things to concern if you buy Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0GT
-service center availability
-power to weight ratio

my 1st choice would be lancer 2.0 GT then followed by Civic 1.8..

lancer 2.0 GT looks nicer and its CBU car
Civic 1.8 is SOHC rite? but its a CKD car
but CIVIC has higher resale value and the parts avaibility is higher than Lancer 2.0 GT

altis is too mature for me..
jus my 2 cents

I would pick Civic though.
Looks better, power better. Fuel consumption also better thanks to the 5-speed automatic gearbox.

Why overseas altis using new engine/gearbox but our local model only change the skin? why selling at the same price compared to previous model?

Altis consider quite sporty but just that is old engine so civic is better choice.!!

What is CBU and CKD??

I had drove a civic 1,8 before and it so fun to drive. Maybe I think is fun because my ride now is just 1.3 and suddenly drive 1.8, sure fun.

Mean I should give up altis? If comfort, altis is better?

CBU=Complete Build Up which means fully imported from Japan and assembled in Japan
CKD=Complete Knocked Down which means all parts are imported from Japan and assembled in Malaysia

Like that, CBU seem is better ler.. Me around 8pm something only at home. That time only add you.

You can always choose the Civic 2.0S with 17" alloy wheels and a special Sparkle Gray Pearl color.
Besides, it also have leather interiors, sportier suspension tuning, electronic power steering compare to 1.8S hydraulic steering rack (some prefer the 1.8S steering). Don't forget about the 2.0 K20A DOHC i-VTEC engine it have too.

My pick would be Civic 2.0, best of all 3, the highest legroom of all not to mention the lovely 2.0 engine +17inch EP-3 Type-R rim from the previous Honda Civic Type R

Out of 3, only 1 has 6-speed CVT... a better choice since u can mess with gears rather than a boring 4-speeder.

Personally Lancer GT2.0 looks FUGLY to me, i wont want it even if i get it free (well i might sell it out and get another car )
Honda looks nice, but thats all.
Altis is the best combination of power, looks, and usability.

yeah... lancer got CVT, but once it broke down, it'll be a money sucker.

anyway, 2.0S Civic has 5-speed automatic transmission and paddle shift though.

I prefer Toyota Altis 1.8G.

anyway, for me ..civic is the way to go...smoother and more refined engine, better outlooks and cool futuristic cabin compared to the other two.

None of them LOL.

Considering Lancer 2.0GT's is 5-speed manual gearbox or CVT transmission with 6 virtual gears.

Still, Lancer 2.0GT 152bhp at 6000rpm still looses to Civic 2.0S 155bhp at 6300rpm (can't compare to 1.8S of course).

you can see terion doing his dyno at only 117whp while the civic has 132whp on stock
