for manual user,
wanna know how much ur guys press ur clutch when changing gear, press full till bottom? or jst half? or less then half?

BTW, anyone tried with Zenden strut bar? heard that i wont void warranty also..
*
QUOTE(Lim Ling Yang @ May 22 2008, 10:44 PM)
Always press full.
Or else might spoil you gears.
*
Yup, always press till bottom. But sometimes when dragging, it kinda hard as the clutch is quite high. sweat.gif

I heard people say that R3 strut bar is re-badge of Zenden. whistling.gif

yaya, the clutch quite high, can do any adjstment on this? laugh.gif

re-badge of Zenden? mean Zenden repack = R3?
*
Donno if can adjust the clutch but my previous ride can by adjusting the cable from the pedal to the clutch tension. But I couldn't find a ny clutch cable in my Waja. sweat.gif

About that Zenden re-badge thing, I also not very sure, but read it somewhere in some forum. flex.gif

R3 extractor=hotbits if i'm not mistaken
*
QUOTE(Safe Driver @ May 23 2008, 03:06 AM)
hmmm... hot bits?... impossible.. R3 would be an embarrassment if it copied some other design
*
Actually it make sense to just use any available design in the market rather than custom make your own. Your design may achieve 1-2 hp more but for a small company like R3 (and small market), it needs a long time to get the ROI. Maybe they just tested all the aftermarket part and choose the best design to be used in their product. But atleast its proven to works. thumbup.gif

That's bcos its using hydraulic pump for clutch.
I am also really looking forward to get one, but does anyone do research on the spare parts pricing, would be helpful if this is published.

Spare parts are the same with normal Waja (mostly) except for the Engine part. hmm.gif

hmmm i thought most of the CPS paint jobs were pretty bad... mine came flakey and horrible...

WORST PART IS... during the 1st week of usage of my car, some parking dude scratched the door panel with a sharp edged rusty sign board....

when i had the patch resprayed, i only noticed HOW BAD THE ORIGINAL PAINT JOB IS.. OMG...

anyone else has this problem?
*
Paint job is kinda 'thin' and easily scratch (not enough coating). sweat.gif

It isn't battery problem.  Better don't discuss kancil problem here.  tongue.gif Coz here is CPS section.
Due to Proton needs to deliver 5000 CPS AT order to our dear Polisman, (Wonder why they want to order AT version) so, I have to wait till Oct 2008 if I want other color than Blue Agate.

Same Question, is Blue AGate beautiful to you?

Thx
*
IMO, Blue Agate is quite nice but lack of modification prospect. Still cannot think of any aftermarket sportrim color and design that will blend in nicely, and also bodykit. If other color, can see how other people mod result and choose which do you like. laugh.gif

World has changed..... Last time, I  preferred Manual car.  But I bought Wira AT on 2001 (Since AT got Stock in EON)
Now, I prefer AT one (as I am getting Older), but EON & Edar have many manual Waja CPS in their shops now. rclxub.gif

WHAT A BIG BIG CHANGE!!!!!
*
Maybe people these days prefer AT compared to MT, thus more unsold stock for MT. Maybe you should try to test drive the MT. Who knows, maybe a change of hearts after that. brows.gif

Dunno why, driving a manual car makes u feel more 'in control'.
Of course AT these days are more advanced n smooth.....
but i still prefer MT. Can feel lotsa power with my MT Waja CPS.
Unlike the AT, i dun really have to floor the gas to get things going.
*
Its actually depend a lot on the traffic condition of road where you often travel, like daily route from home to office and back to home again. If it always jammed, better to take AT. Less fatigue, especially when driving after works. sweat.gif

As for me, my work place is kinda small town/village area and only 3km from where I lived, no jammed. So, MT is the best. thumbup.gif

Done that. Cost me RM110 for pairs. They use paint to colored the inner plastic part and give me 1 year warranty against water leaked. thumbup.gif

not worth it...small increase in engine efficiencies only ....u can get more power if u mod the exhaust system..(dont simply put any exhaust system...) the system must suitable with then engine output...change to better air filter is one more option...mr spihroth have have done this....seems he is very happy... with the change...belting of the engine also can increase your ride performance...i forget what those belting system name but its better then stock one and its quite expensive...rm2000 something per set i think...other than that is using air dam and skirting...put spoiler not recommended since not easy to determine whether the spoiler success in reducing turbulence at the back or make it worse...better option is attaching vortex generator at the back... note that...all this aerokit is only fully engaged when the vehicle is traveling at 120 km/h ...below than that... its only put extra weight to your ride....happy motoring guys thumbup.gif
*
The 1st step to mod is the intake and exhaust. Exhaust will certainly the best bang for buck upgrade but certainly wll void your warranty. That leave us with only the intake option. laugh.gif

Never heard of belting upgrade.. hmm.gif

Changing plug cable will void your warranty. Even R3 state that changing plug cable is considered as stage 2 upgrade. Only stage 1 upgrade will not void your warranty. sweat.gif

As for bodykit, the only advantage is that it enhance the visual appearence, but for aerodynamics, I really doubt that. How many bodykit manufacturer has access to wind tunnel? Unless they copy the OEM bodykit, such as Modulo and Mugen for Honda. brows.gif

Vortex generator only works when combine with rear spoiler like Evo. Else, it useless. whistling.gif

thats why i only stated that putting an air dam is enough...since the function of air dam to make sure less wind trap under the body and create drag force cause by uneven shape of component downthere...and when the wind escape at the rear it create turbulence cause by negative pressure.so no need wind tunnel for testing..if a company have its a bonus...heheh...actually i agree that vortex generator must combine with spoler...but no need big spoiler.low spoiler is enuff like stock current persona spoiler...this is what i learn at Uni cool2.gif
*
Air dam need to be paired with with rear diffuser to avoid the turbulance at the rear, thus better high speed stability.

Persona rear spoiler will not have effect. You need to use higher spoiler like the one Evo's using. A spoiler purpose is to create down force by allowing air to move faster on the bottom part and slower on the upper part. But for a sedan car (such as Evos), the air flow will not go to the bottom part of the spoiler after it went over the roof as it flowing fast. The vortex generator will slow down this air so it will flow down the boot, and the spoiler. Thats why hatchback has better aerodynamics than sedan, thus no need to use vortex generator. hmm.gif
