urs is R1CA037, and the current version is R1EA037... so yeap, u can update it if u want to =)

Hi all the Brother, my k850i this morning suddenly cannot boot up

when i push the on button, it will shake and the keypad light and camera len blue light are on,and it just hang it there like that.screen is black and no response at all,cannot switch off,have to take out the battery......

i have tried to restart many times but still the same thing happen, hang with keypad and len light on....

can any one help me????

already update it..so current version now is R1EA037
by the way..anyone know where i can download shake theme(like laser precision) when move menu it has some shake/vibrate TQ

update firmware would help up

try update the firmware... if still can, itz better to go back to the shop n ask them to change the new 1 for u... since itz jus bought today, i think the seller will change for u IF HE IS GOOD SELLER...

It happen to me as well. I try to reflash it but it just doesn't detect so only choice is to bring it back to the shop. It costs me 3 weeks time to finally bring back the h/p. Mine is ap.

Added on May 8, 2008, 1:42 pmInitially mine can be update to the latest firmware but after come back from warranty i try to update, it keep on saying mine is the lastest firmware and there's no newer firmware but i know mine is the first edition firmware which is a bit lag..

How is the sound quality compare between K850i & W910i? I mean the sound/music come out from the build in "speaker". Thanks~!

w910 wins k850 a lil... tried to compare my k850 wit my frenz's w910... but i still satisfied wit it as k850 is main on itz cam, but it aso have such an above average sound quality...

Buy the Philips SHE9700 earphones..damn good and powerful bass. I got for a good price whilst at Low Yat Plaza last week.

to me, the SE walkman earphone is good enough for me to listen to music... definitely NO to the normal SE earphone...

nope... jus those normal earphone... u can try to get the walkman earphone afte u purchase the hp... but remember, BUY ORIGINAL... as itz a huge difference compare to those CAP PALANG type...

One have to be careful I'm wary of a lot of fakes earphones of these same brand in Low Yat..true or not up to you all to judge. It can't be THAT cheap right?. One shop even claimed..Oh this one is AP imported.
Just be careful when buying. Capalang brand..a definite No No.
