Cant stand? Go for n95 then. After a short while, u might feel that u seldom use the GPS and wifi, and always, nokia are not as user-friendly as SE does. Unless those function n symbian interface is truely benefits u and very very important in ur life, otherwise u will be thinking of back to SE.. This is my own experience

The most important thing is those modders found out the way to hack into k850, then will be a lot of things to mod. For example, cam driver, acoustic, and those fantastic flash themes

Just now my k850 dropped from about 175cm height to ground. But i cant find any single tiny bent or scratch on it, thumbs up for luminous green k850!!

I guess it wont, because the pc will download the firmware into ur pc 1st, then will transfer the firmware into ur phone, after the full firmware transfered into ur phone, only it will install. Unless when ur phone installing the firmware, the phone suddenly out of batt, then i dunno.

Bad camera of k850i? Nah, i doubt it. Even if it is bad, the user's skills of photo shooting by k850 is bad then.

Just updated to latest firmware.. Cant really see the improvement tho.. updated=remain previous firmware.. Sigh.. What a "latest" firmware..

New FW gives a lot of benefits, no harm upgrading. Even there is no problem with ur phone, but u can notice that the phone will performs a lot better than ur current FW.

I think u have to suit urself with those 3 buttons. There are some "skills" using it. When u get used to it, u will understand. Otherwise, u have to check with ur k850 provider, it might be the problem with the sensitivity of those touch buttons too.

I dont really think that its related with firmware, i used k850 since the oldest firmware till now the latest firmware, i have no issue about the touch problem

If he say 10 out of 10 have this problem then weird already

I got 7 friends that using this unit, all have no problems at all, they all(included me) were flashed to latest firmware

For ur problem, i suggest u better send back to ur phone provider and repair. Only then decide whether to sell it off or not

Bro, this kind of problem, surely hardware/software problem already. Best solution is send back to ur phone provider. Firmware will not cause this problem AFAIK, anyway, u can always try to update ur firmware to latest one or re-flash ur firmware first.

For this situation, it is kind of rare. All k850 as far as i heard are good in battery life *not really sure abt other lynians buy all my friends does*

For your case, i think ur flash is on during taking the photo right? This is most probably that ur finger has block the sensor right under the flash light and results a weak flash then caused the object which having a little/far distance from ur camera become dark.

To avoid this, do ur best to hold the phone without any finger blocking the back of the phone.

For blur+no clear, most probably ur hand shaking la

For setting, it always depends on users' preferences and for skill, u just need to get used and familiar with the phone's camera.

Basic skills like:
-Use macro mode when shooting a closed-up object
-Use landscape mode when shooting a long distance object
-Turn flash to "Red Eye Reduction" if the environment is very dark
And there're a lot more for u urself to discover.

It always depends on self-preferences la.. C902 is slim, stylish, newer model and i think with more stable firmware, and it has "face-detection" at camera side but it lacks of xenon flash, smaller screen compared with k850 and i think k850 is more stylish

Anyway, to not take the risk of getting a troublesome k850, u better go for c902. Get k850 if u really loves it

U can still to use the flash light when day time, but if u set to "auto flash" then it will not flash if the environment if really bright enough that flash is useless, or if u wan to force the flash on under bright environment, set it to "red eye reduction". Actually no matter ur flash is on or off during day time, it will produce almost the same result.. So nothing much to discuss about this.

Make sure the ISO setting is higher if u found that the picture always dark, if the ISO is set to 100, then might be darker lo.. So just set it to 200 or 400 to try lo.

K850 has an ISO setting where K770,K800,K810 do not have. I am not sure about the normal and auto mode u stated, it has an auto mode but which normal mode u mentioning? Just play around with then ISO setting first, if u still think there're something wrong with it, then better check with ur distributor

When did u bought this phone? If lately, then it is way overpriced already lo.. Ori k850 around Rm1250, pv-705 bt headset let it RM140, 4gb micro SD let it RM60, total RM1450 oni le...

Latest phones nowadays took around or less than 1hour for fully charged, no worries
