So sad, my phone just got prob... it sudenly hang, i take out the battery n put it back, on again, it also hang there with keypad lights up. I also try use the SE update service flash, finish flash till 100% also, but when load till menu, it hang again. Why?

I buy my phone on 09/09/08. I thk only 2 & 1/2 month only ba! haha!
I ask the seller already, he say is Firmware prob.
He say alot of k850i he sell bt only me & another guy got prob...

I just flash using SE Update Service.

i try to flash it, it also complete till 100%, after i turn it on, it loading till main menu & it hang at menu.
after pull out battery n put in back, on again, it also keypad lights up & nothing on the screen.

Yesterday i already send my phone to the seller, today he call me say that he receive my phone already.
That day he ask me to charge my battery using the exrternal batthery charger, cos he say that K850i cannot use the phone till battery emty just charge, it must charge before it finish. if not when u try on it, it will hang at there jus liek i say. i try already but still the same.

Nop... I ask another technician to check n fix it...!
Before i buy this phone, i already buy alot of phone with him, all ok, just this phone unlucky!

it is under waranty... cos i knw well the seller, i always make a deal with him. he works at CSL branch!

my phone done already... the technician say just the software prob only, after flash then ok already!

iI got same prob too... I already ask the seller & SE web site, they say K850i is like that, even u off ur phone the battery still runing.
Because sometime we set alarm or reminder, & our phone also use for time n date memory. Is normal.

i have facing similar prob like you, i already send to seller & they say is IC problem.
So need fix the IC. I also try use SE update service bt fail too....
if can send back to service center!!!

My one also have a problem, I send it to waranty, but till now not yet came back. 1st time i send they say firmware problem then reflash it, after send back to me, it still the same. Then i send for 2nd time, they say need send to KL to check it. After few weeks they say ok already & ready send to me after they test it. 2nd day they call me they check already but still same. Need to send back again, the KL technician say is the Chip problem, need to replace but the chip have no stock, need wait till the stock come. I buy September 2008, after 2 month use i send to waranty, till now not yet return. abit sad!

Hey bro... seems like your problem same like mine. sudenly habg, after take out battery & switch on, it only lights up screen for a while, shake & lens & keypad lights up. after that nothing come out...

I send to waranty they say is Chip problem... need replace. They flash few times but still the same...

So... hope your problem not serious like mine...
