future is mega-size Plasma ... projector would be history by then  laugh.gif

mega size also means mega prices.

anyway no matter how mega-size plasma gets, all I have to do is zoom out a little more with the projector and it will beat that plasma size with no extra cost. I think once you take a look at psp-boy setup, you will change your song.

cheers.... icon_idea.gif

The determination of future technology is consumer price. It's been proven high tech alone don't sell. Projector is becoming affordable when it break RM 5000 price point.

I just wonder what happen to the once hype SED TV hmm.gif.

But projector can't be used in a brightly lit place, that's the problem
thats why you need different displays for different things. as one elite forumer here would say

primary viewing use projector for movies, for secondary stuff like Astro, games, none action movies, just watch on your plasma

I would say to setup a good home cinema setup using projector is not cheap ... 200k also not enough ... of course getting a 70" or 103" Plasma or LCD also cost double the projector setup

only those who can afford 200k and above ... will choose Plasma or LCD over projector

so the best is to have a plasma in the living, a projector in a theater room, an oled in the bedroom and a lcd in the washroom
