I really need some black eyeliner. Both pencil and liquid. I want the black to be really thick and dramatic as I've had far too many experiences of so-called 'black' eyeliners that require me to literally poke my eyes out by drawing the lines over and over again. Are there any good and cheap brands to recommend? Preferably with a budget less than RM40.

I personally don't buy makeup based on brands. whatever works fine works for me. if I find something I was looking for, the brand doesn't matter. This post has been edited by spunkberry: Apr 13 2008, 05:10 AM

True, brands don't matter. Maybe I just don't have the luck to come across the one I'm looking for.

Increase your budget by Rm10 and get the MAC eyeliner. You can go there and ask them to help you draw your eyes to see if you like the effect. If you like liquid eyeliner, i suggest this indian brand called lakme, i'm using it and the results are gorgeous!

Im using Shu Emura and Clinique eye liner. Its really nice. But the price is a lil expensive.I also had tried Mac before. It's not bad. But,for Mac's pencil eye liner, dun get the wet type.Get the dry type. Then it wont smear.

U can see around the Kose counter in Pakson, metrojaya, Jusco to look one for it.

u can try liner paste. The one where u need to mix with a little water to use. Those are dark and they last very long too.

hmm it's the skills that matter and not the brand. I'm currently using elianto and I find it nice and reasonably priced and mostly importantly it does the same job like other branded eyeliners. This is the one : http://www.elianto.biz/products/colour_makeup/EyeLiner.htmlAs for getting the dark and dramatic effect, I usually touch-up with eye-pencil after eyeliner. Of course volumize mascara play a big part too. Also to share, I use this for removal - excellent to me as it's not harsh. http://www.elianto.biz/products/skin_care/DeepSeaLip.html has anyone tried?

Yeah I have the same problem. I bought it since CNY this year and my bottle is finishing soon. I have written to them to notify me once the stocks are in stores.
