3. Sony earphones/earbuds = No bloody contest, this baby is cheap and the treble/clarity is far superior than even the philips headset. I need to turn the amp/zoom g1 volume down by half before it kills my ear drums.
It's very clear to me that you do not need to spend tons of money on a good set of headphones, because the truth is, they will never come close to the clarity/treble that an earphone/earbud can offer.

It's very clear to me that you haven't used a really good set of headphones, such as the Beyerdynamic DT-770s or Audio Technica ATH-M50s . And if it's treble you're looking for, the Sony MDR-7506 will give you plenty. All of these headphones will run you RM 400 at least, with the beyers going around RM 600 for a used pair.

I don't know about you, but headphones seems to require more power to get the volume you want, and it requires more high quality material inside to get so much treble so that it would penetrate your ears from the outside.
It's because headphones usually have a higher impedance compared to earphones.

This is too much effort and price to pay when you could simply just spend under 100 ringgit for a good pair of sony Earbuds/phones and get superior sound.
It seems other people agree that cheap earbuds can destroy even professional headphones as well for guitar amps practice.

Hell no I would never agree to that. Your headphone simply isn't a "professional headphone", at least in my point of view.
Oh btw it doesn't matter if you blast music through earphones or headphones, both can destroy your hearing.
