Yes, a land in play is a permanent. So yes, Nicol Bolas can blow away lands.

WHATisGACC?

GACC is an annual Games, Anime and Comics convention held by EMiNA MMU Melaka.

Find out more at WhatIsGACC.com!

Thanks to the folks at Hasbro, EMiNA and GACC, I'm given the opportunity to host TWO Magic tournaments over the event!

It might be out of the way for most if not all of you guys, but if you're interested in the main event, why don't you pop by and show a little support for Magic (in other words, get your fix) while you're at it? (and probably bring back an armful of M10 packs?)

There will be 2 separate tournaments, 1 for each day.

Details below!

Spicy is right! That's a very nice crack!

I recommend using Starcitygames.com's prices and then x3.5 or x3 for a rough estimate of prices. Local demand will vary of course. Most players who're willing to pay for cards are cheapskates (me included XD )

Well, there was alot of activity at the mtg-malaysia.com forums following GP KL. Been so busy with the GP preparations totally forgotten to hype the event here too... Hahaha....

But great news for everyone. Many Malaysians made alot of money over the event, including US$1,000 for Wei Han who made top 8. Too bad he got KOed in the quarters.

12 in total made at least US$200 for being in the top 64.

Hi, the Core Set planeswalkers are in their 3rd reprint, so they're fairly cheap, on the RM10-15 range, except for Garruk who's probably around RM25?

The rest are about that range with a few exceptions. Jace the Mind Sculptor are going for at least RM200 to RM250, the new Scars of Mirrodin planeswalkers are going for RM100 to RM150 at the moment.

The rest are somewhere in between RM100 to RM30 range.

Just thought you might want a heads up on this info. wink.gif

There's many retailers in KL who will happily sell you their planeswalkers. CCEGAMES in Old Klang Road, Decards in USJ Summit, Comics Corner in Subang, Eternal Magic and Cardmaster in PJ are the more notable ones. Oh, and there's that new one in Damansara, The Tavern.

Putrefax is a 5/3 right? If it goes unblocked, the defending player will take 5 poison counters instead of 5 damage. Infect replaces normal damage to creatures and players with -1/-1 counter or Poison counters.

@Zaypher, I play competitive magic as competitively as possible. I spend RM30 a week on booster drafts (which uses 3x booster packs anyways), RMXX for tournament entry fees, and... that's it.

So, minimum RM120 a month. More if there's tournaments.

I'll borrow cards that I need to play with for tournaments if I don't have them.

Hi, you're better off asking 1mtg.org because most of the board regulars all migrated there! smile.gif

Sorry, no time, otherwise I'd love to help!
