I played with the phone today in Ipoh, pretty sweet. Touch screen was quite easy to use, needs a little more pressure to sense the touch compared to the iPhone, also i was able to type out a text message on the phone pretty quickly (Amazing since i have really big fingers and always make mistakes on the iPhone) but the accelerometer was a bit twitchy, a bit too sensitive but i guess i'll get used to it.

It sorta messes up menu selection if you're holding the phone slightly at an angle by switching between landscape and portrait mode and not registering the press but if you keep the phone straight vertically or horizontally it was fine.

The phone felt nice and is considerably smaller then i expected. It feels lighter than my SE w580i.

Hey guys , i wanna buy 5800 tomorow ? i got 1400 to get the ap . but i see sumone is selling axaxx at rm 1400 . can u guys tell me there i can get , realy want it tomorow ? btw the pakage is what ? memory card ? and the colour blue is nice or red ?

This is 2nd hand knowledge. Just from reading these forums, lowyat apparently is selling for RM1499 but the price can come down to RM1399 and is an avaxx set and there is a store in SS2 called atlantis selling an ori set for RM13xx.

As for the colours. It's a personal thing, I liked the blue one and I thought the red looked dull.

Package should include:

Phone
Carry case
8GB micro-SD (Probably with adapter, don't let them tell you they are giving it to you free... it comes pre bundled with the phone and you're paying for it in the price tag.)
Charger
USB cable
Plectrum Stylus with wrist strap and 2 Pen Stylus
Nokia Pc Software.
Handsfree/Earphone for music.
Warranty... and various other documents.

No point getting AP set now as Avaxx set (original set) is as low as RM13xx. Drive yourself to PJ SS2 Atlantis store to get one but not sure if they still have stock as this phone is selling like hot cakes. No transport? Use LRT, stop at Taman Bahagia station and ride on Rapid KL bus to SS2 (stop at the bus station in front of Poh Kong Jewelery shop). You can walk from the LRT station too but the journey will take about 30 minutes.

I personally prefer RED, looks hot thumbup.gif

need advice, is there any different btwn avaxx n zitron as both are official nokia distributor? so there no point in waiting for the actual release right?...dilemme here, my latest h/p is the v3x from like 3yrs ago...i'm outdated!

pana, can the 5800 do flash/animated/video as background or wallpaper like S.E? hmm.gif
