Well, we can only wait and see what is the final price for Asia market when this phone is officially launch in Indonesia next month. Don't expect a cheap price for it when it arrive at our shore. Nokia had let us down

Sabar, sabar. Wait for the original one to come first then only decide (just need to wait for less then a month only !!). No point paying extra as we know they are trying to catch all the impatient early bird. The price this phone is only Eur 279 before tax and subsidize .

RM1,650 is quite tempting . Will get 1 after CNY when the price stabilize .

26 Jan 09, one more month only. So the price for this phone should be stabilize in mid Feb 09.

Original coming out on 9th of Jan, so AP price will go down. How low it will go that one I don't know as market demand will determine it. You should try out the phone first before deciding to get it or n85 (less then 1 month only before the official launch in Pavilion, KL) . This phone is more interesting then n85 from my personal point of view. The king version, N97 will kick them both but the price of that phone is out of my league, so 5800 is my aim now .

Oh right here is my opinions :

n85 is actually more physically interesting compare to 5800 (5800 plastic built really ......... )

Camera? - Use digital cam if you wan to take quality picture.
FM Transmitter? - Don't really need it.
Screen? - one can see only but cannot touch, the other one can see see and touch touch .
Lens cover? - Don't really bother, just get a screen protector for it.

Phone price before tax and subsidize :

n85 (N Series) - 450 Euro
5800 (Xpress Music) - 279 Euro

3310 is damn good, that phone follow me for more then 6 years before starting to kaput recently . It is so easy to handle as you don't have to worry about dropping it or trowing it on your table .

Hahaha, thanks man but I'm not the longest if compare to some members here (the last one I heard before was 8 years ). Well, technology is moving so fast now especially in the mobile world. Sometimes, you feel that you were 'force' to change the phone just to use some of the new features like MMS, GPS, video call, 3G services, etc.


Back to topic :

Err guys, mind tell us your experience on the hardware parts. Been receiving too many negative comments about this phone hardware problem. Software problems can be fix with firmware updates but hardware..... .

These temptation are insane , I wonder how long more we can withstand it . Many thanks for the reviews, hopefully all the unit coming into Malaysia won't have hardware problem like what the Russian are facing now.

No point getting AP set now as Avaxx set (original set) is as low as RM13xx. Drive yourself to PJ SS2 Atlantis store to get one but not sure if they still have stock as this phone is selling like hot cakes. No transport? Use LRT, stop at Taman Bahagia station and ride on Rapid KL bus to SS2 (stop at the bus station in front of Poh Kong Jewelery shop). You can walk from the LRT station too but the journey will take about 30 minutes.

I personally prefer RED, looks hot
