Have a few answers here =)
1. Did you regret for going thru form 6??izzit really so tough like others said?
- Nope. I don't think I have any. I couldn't have afforded the luxury (?) of private colleges.
- I tell people who considers Form 6 that it's really tough. So does all my friends. But in all honesty, no, it's not THAT tough. It probably was THAT tough back in the 80's, early 90's.. But it sure is much tougher than an SPM students considers SPM.
- I have 16 students in my class. That's at least 16 birthday parties thrown - each with it's own cake! And there's the end of the year parties etc etc.
2. Can share some experiences on your study? izzit really a MUST to study everyday for few hours??
- I go to school everyday, until when the teachers have finished with the syllabus. I still go to school when my friends tell me that the teachers are gonna give some past year questions , exercises etc.
- I took tuition classes for all subjects - except for MUET. So I guess, i do study outside of school for a few hours everyday.
- I rarely study at home. Group studies never took off. I mean, we met up but it was always a few hours spent in chatter and food. So I guess, other than school and tuition, I don't study. But then, I did, took a month or two before STPM to self-study - in the library.
3. What subjects should be taken in science stream?
-Physics/Bio (or both)
-Maths T
-Chemistry
-PA
-MUET
4. The most important thing, can I still apply for uni(such as Utar) if I din do well or sumore even worst failed in stpm?
- Failed? if you mean 0.00 CGPA then, I think you would have to retake a pre-U course.
- If you get low CGPA, for e.g, CGPA below 2.0, you can still apply and qualify. But you would have to take extra courses. Like a friend of mine, she got something below 2.0 and applied to UTAR. She had to take a Maths course because she failed Maths during STPM.
