dude chill,

i start out from scratch from here too you know. if you showed them
good attitude they wouldn't mind posting some comments for you.
at least try to google for good composition tips, your photos are only
mere snap shots, nothing special IMHO. you need to improvise some
composition techniques such as the rule of third. try shoot interesting
subject. landscape, abstract or whatever suits you. smile.gif

if you're really serious about photography, you'd probably need a lot
of reading and references.

you are not the only one who's new to photography around here.
so its kinda gets repetitive to give out the same thing all over again.
hope this helps smile.gif keep it up.

moving this back to photography.

camera phone obviously is not competent enough even if compare to digicam. however, it is still a camera if you know how to use it and definitely deserves a place in photography. a great skilled photography anytime can win someone heart with their camera phone's photo compare to a no talent DSLR user.

anyhow, we also have gallery for cameraphone here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/541928

that was what i thought when i first joined the photo gallery section..but my thread was closed in less than 2 hours..and my pics were still acceptable pics from a w800i biggrin.gif hope mods will ALL agree to allow cam phones in photogallery sections... we post in the photo gallery for one reason...which is to learn how to compose..why must we be put together with those snapshots in the cam phone gallery smile.gif just MO hope the mods could take into consideration

u're such a gear masturbator...
it doesn't matter which camera u use to take picture...its the skill tat counts...
using 5d, 30d, 400d doesnt justify anything...again...

^ shots are too underexposed, you'll need to learn how to quick read the 5D's Exposure dial and do variance shooting. I see that your shutter is low and the pic is still dark so try to boost the ISO next time around.

There's an inbuilt AEB (Auto Exposure Bracketing) which makes life easier by producing 2 other shots with lower and higher exposures.

Let people buy what they want. I believe in buying first, practicing later lol and it has suited the way i shoot.

If the TS is comfortable with the 5D then so be it. I'm comfortable with it, it's chunk ass heavy with the grip and all, but still i feel better using it than with a 40D and i believe it contributes.
