@JasLyn
Here's a transparent statusbar.
Just place this folder in the theme folder.
Then select it via Winterboard.

Try this out. Transparent BG Clock: This will make the lock screen clock BG transparent. Elemental Battery ![]() *you can use any of your customize batt pictures. ****** Found a way to change the "slide to unlock" lockscreen to any words as you desires. Locate file "SpringBoard.strings" in System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/ Make a backup before editing/converting and use the link below to convert. Convert Apple Property list from binary to text XML Edit using Notepad++ Notepad++ Find string: <key>AWAY_LOCK_LABEL</key> <string>slide to unlock</string> Change slide to unlock to anything you like e.g: your name etc Save and upload back to System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/ Reboot the phone. Updates:
Winterboard updates available via Cydia. Add-ons: 1) The support WebClip, or icons websites saved on springboard. To get a new icon just simply create one with the same name and put it in the usual folder Icons / 2) The possibility of changing the background of Lockscreen through an image file called LockBackground.png (supports other formats such as jpg and html for dynamic backgrounds) *Hopefully this solve the winterboard problem for some who could not get it working. QUOTE(Stan_almighty @ Aug 28 2008, 10:50 PM) Hey Stan,Do state what firmware you're on and what software/apps you have installed on your phone. It's quite difficult to know what you're facing as most of us have upgraded to fw 2.0.1. Hopefully with the extra details you gave us, forummers can help you out and work out a solution for you. QUOTE(frozzbyte @ Aug 29 2008, 03:16 AM) Actually david, winterboard can apply summerboard theme without problem. Thats the beauty of Winterboard. U just need to put it in /private/var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/Themes. BTW Masamune ... do u have WbApp? That app can nicely compliment Winterboard as you can preview the theme first before applying it. Very cool You're the man frozzbyte Edit: frozzbyte bro /private/var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/Themes works fine as i need to create the (SummerBoard/Themes) folders which by default does not have it. The summerboard theme does appear in winterboard but the theme that Masamune wanted to us does not work. Tried it and all i get was the default iphone icons. May need to change the icon names as all are named icon.png. This post has been edited by davidgary73: Aug 29 2008, 11:15 AM |

QUOTE(frozzbyte @ Aug 29 2008, 12:25 PM) Yeap by default that folder /SummerBoard/Themes is not there. We need to create it ourselves. Apparently, all the icons need to be renamed. Masamune wanted to apply this themeWhat theme did Masamune wanted to apply? I didn't check it last time and yes the icons in the icon folder must be named exactly like it shows at springboard i.e SMS is text.png, Mail is mail.png, installer.png and so on. Icon.png are the default name in their respective app folder. If you got a lot of icons then it would be a hassle to rename it all one by one. Added on August 29, 2008, 12:26 pmIf use WbApp, it can even separate WinterBoard themes from SummerBoard themes. http://www.myiphoneforums.com/forum/index.php?topic=100.0 ![]() I got it working on both SummerBoard and WinterBoard. Renamed all the icons to it's proper names. Only dock BG and icons working. Battery image, carrier not successful via SummberBoard but a little tweak in WinterBoard should get it working. WbApp is very good indeed. Helpful. This post has been edited by davidgary73: Aug 29 2008, 01:06 PM |

@Masamune
I have attached a working WinterBoard version of this theme. Only Icons and Dock BG. Btw, the icons are much bigger that the default iphone icons. I only like the dock icons while i delete the rest and the spacing of the dock icon are not exactly like the theme. Weird!!! Cheers This post has been edited by davidgary73: Aug 29 2008, 04:22 PM |
