PSP GPS is not really available here officially. But you can go to the Playstation Sub forum to check on the GPS info there.

In Malaysia, you can use the PSP-290 GPS receiver together with homebrew software called MapThis. The trouble is that you need to download your own map.
Althought it's a bit of a hassle, it's fun to use the PSP as a GPS navigation system. As for using the GPS with official software, it's currently only available in Japan (Maplus) and UK (Go!Explore). Check out the following threat: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/527406 You can also take a look at the review of Go!Explore software for PSP here. |

do we need to attach the PSP with an external adaptor/receiver to receive the Satellite signal?? or the PSP come with built-in GPS chip (such as A-GPS, etc) hope sony can release a PSP version with built-in GPS...and preloaded map...than save the hassle |
