No you do not. The only fees is the RM10 stamping fees and RM50 endorsement by ASNB. One bank currently charges 0.50% of the financing amount for all that, but you can skip that bank if you refuse to pay those fees

For people who do financing with bank rimau, did the bank already deduct the money from your account for the loan?

Usually i will see the deduction from my maybank saving account after 7pm on 1st day of the month.. Never before that time.. So maybe you can check again tonight..

Same here...Even the ones with advance payments. The day is still young & thus I wouldn't worry much. Probably some "glitch" in their system being worked out. Past months, they've deducted one the 1st without fail. If by end of Monday, still no deduction? Then might be worth it to check in on them.
Yup.. Unless it's being adjusted to 1st of the month like most. Interest charged on last day of the month, repayment deducted on 1st.

asb 2 still not open yet for most bank. CIMB only open for refinance.

Just went to HLBB today asking their current ASBF offer. 3.55% for 200k loan, age limit until 65 y.o, insurance not compulsory.

If i am not mistaken some bank like ambank has age limit until 70 y.o.
