QUOTE(echobrainproject @ Apr 7 2008, 06:18 PM) based on his previous posts, i doubt its him. bman, that clip you put is a modified version of justin king's larrivee. however he played it alot slower and he missed the coolest part of all (the two hand tapping section). the tabs were once posted here before and i've learnt it. recommended to learn, its really fun. i've got andy mckee's album. anyone has justin king or trace bundy's albums? Where did you find it?

Although I'm not good at music instrument, this guy really know how to play around with his guitar as if not, he wouldn't be playing such a nice melody. Previously while I was studying in high school I always think playing guitars is just to attract girls.....

QUOTE(echobrainproject @ Apr 6 2008, 09:43 AM) i like. very simple. the way he uses harmonics rhythmically (sp?) is clever as it adds a whole new dimention to the song. Added on April 6, 2008, 9:50 amanyways, anyone got any links or articles on a detailed study on harmonics? it seems to be a very powerful tool of extending the range especially when on an acoustic. i'm sure theres alot more to it than the 3,5,7 and 12th fret harmonics 2.5, 4, 9, 11, 14, 15 (this is not BS. they actually are there.) 2.5 is just slightly behind the dot in the 3rd fret. If i remember correctly, it should sound similar to 15. 4 & 9 are the exact same thing. the 11th & 14th fret harmonics can only be picked up with high gain. 11th sounds like a scream of metal, 14th sounds like a high pitched wail, the kind that you think would break glass.

Two is One and One is None.

basically every note in the chromatic scale is available as a open-string harmonic except for A#. google will help on the fretboard map

lazy to google. haha. and if it has got to do with gain, then im so lazy i rather jz pinch harmonics. i just wanna try different stuff with my acoustic. DADGAD tuning all the way! (on acoustic that is)
