I can see most of the hardware such as mobo , casing, graphic card comes with Black and Red design, especially higher end stuff. i think not..but make sure inverter is not too hot..otherwise it's can burnt...

CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp)
so its call... is cooler than cathode tube use at our house but provide much more brightness.
it will warm to be touch but not hot

Mayb the CCFL has a shorter length...

it draw less power, produce less heat, and smaller. maybe if u can produce a ccfl that are that big, it will be brighter  jk but i think it will still be less brighter

But dunno about the heat produced and power comsumption...
