All tendered ones.. some are actually rich people/sons/daughters of the rich; given an average first car but a nice number plate for "recognition as a family vehicle".
Some are just driving a used car, which previous owner put a nice plate to it.
Some are just temporary nice plates on the car - going to be on something better.

You can TRANSFER plates from one car to another

The RX-8 pic might be old, it is likely on that Accord now.. or the Honda Stream, as someone said..
Not sure about the order, because I haven't seen JJJ8888 yet.


1) ACH10 is old.. its been transferred from a Mini Cooper to a Alphard long time ago. Maybe nimrod2 saw that Mini some time back, not recently.

2) You can.. just CALL or GO to JPJ and request your reg. plate data to be transferred to your next (new) car. You give them your new car's documents along with a small transfer fee.
When that's done, and while they're processing your request, you can (well, most people) just drive around with their new plate on the new car before even getting a call or letter of the approval/confirmation.

Saw some today..

AGL 7 (latest Perak series) on a Brabus C-Class
WAQ 1 on a Yamaha Lagenda, temporary plate obviously.. the bike was on the move though. Rider looked like owner's driver. Anyone has pic of WAQ1 on a car?
