yes power led for CM 690 is a 2 pin and its not splitted, but my mobo asus p5nd has physical 2 pin in 3 pin config. therefore i could not see the power LED on my front panel

take the slot out and get from unused case or just cut it into two

haha, more n more of CM690 users around , 2 new users with hardwares , wat happened to CM590's users? So far only 2 i've seen. I prefer the new shipped CM690 with top I/O panel, mine front and it kinda inconvenient . . . but im able to mod the top though .

I think its more worth it to get CM690 since it's only a bit more expensive.

Maybe you should upgrade to Cosmos or Stacker soon

haha, those cosmos are a beauty . . . but its soo huge. As long as my 690 can fit what i want its sufficient.

this is a suggestion get the cm 4 in 1 module device and it will make ur 690 more cool and cooler

haha, never planned on wc kit seeing i as so troublesome. Air cooling is just enough for me . . . unless i change my mind later on .The 4 in 1 modules are really nice, but it will spoil my mod. yet they look great on cosmos.
