jz started my job few days...as a graduate trainee under front line officer position. find it quite boring coz of repititive paper work...

of coz other branch.....u cant choose...they will tell u where to go...HQ does not have the place to let u gain experience since the position requires interaction with customer as in the branch...

i been working with them since end of nov 12....as a front line officer trainee...depends on ur brach working hour....mine is smaller branch hence less work....i left at 5.45 / 6pm...depends on my mood...other ppl haven finish their work i aredi left liao....they stare give them stare la...
coz i think will be resigning soon haha


tips for all newbie:

if u get front line position, better dun take la...no future, low future advancement prospect plus high risk
if u get credit analyst, is good position coz u will be damn busy work like dawg but u will at learn learn something useful..

alot of my fren applied for public bank, mostly of them got rejected...duno why...i was with them for 1mth plus but i resign coz i dun like the culture n the job scope..front line officer tho...
1 of my fren credit analyst...he say very pressure...always get scolding plus hell lots of workload...working time till 8-9pm baru left office...my advice for all noe wat u are applying for...

day to day operation of bank, like those transaction of withdrawing money thru counter, u need to supervise those trasaction veryfying customer signature, signing off the transaction aka approving it.
pbb have a habit of calling every customer who issue cheque >5k to customer to confirm their issuance.
so u will be quite busy with that as well.
as well as creation / closing of account of customer.
basically thats the major task of the day.

my branch is a small branch, so the workload still consider ok..i left office latest 7.30 that is year end last day.
normaly before 7 i left office already..
but the culture there not that good for me, chinaman culture...scolding for educating is the norm....
yes no OT pay....
