Working in HQ? Quite difficult la. I'm second upper from one of the "atas" university also they only offer branch level trainee credit analyst.

What is your trainee program? Are you still working in public bank?

can't say for sure, my first time applying.. but they look eager to offer me. Sent me statutory declaration form to fill and asked me further questions. Still can't confirm though. I told them I prefer internal audit or credit analyst, but I'm open to others as long as it's not sales.

As cautioned by others, the working culture here is less than ideal to say the least. The head is a nice guy. But persons below him such as managers and seniors can be plain-spoken and mean at times. Also they can be very busy and have no time to teach you stuff. Since they are busy, they expect you to learn fast so that they can go on with their works. Also, it's my third week and now only I can access my PC and the system. Working hours can be long. Working until 8pm onward and working on Saturdays are normal.

I guess the good thing is their staff welfare and benefits. They give many leaves like annual leave (24 days), sick leave (30 days + 30 days hospitalization), exam leave (7 days) and a few other leaves. Your medical expenses is also fully covered. My colleague underwent operations costing 10k but PB fully paid for him. And upon confirmation, you'll be entitled to housing loan, car loan, motorcycle loan and a few other loans with about 2% max interest rate. Another good thing is their training. They provide training constantly at Bangi, and the training is usually fun. If you want to pursue chartered bankers paper, the bank will also sponsor you.

This bank give good benefits, but if you cannot tahan the working environment, maybe it's not suitable for you.

yup I'm based in KJ, living around the area as well so it's a good location to commute with acceptable traffic jam. That's nice if you have nice colleagues and bosses. Our pay is quite low as compared to other banks I do agree with you on that haha. Wow MT also receive bonus? that's good, hopefully our branch is doing well this year. May I know in which branch are you attached in?

May I know what's the working environment like at HQ? Been there for interview only...
