Finally found out who called me on Monday. Going for second interview with the manager on this coming Friday.
I was curious why some people got the job after first interview and why some need to undergo second interview? );

Anyone aware what department is for 20th floor of menara Pbb?

Thanks Jagiya! Good luck in your future undertaking and hope i'll see you in PBB soon! ;D

I was told that 1/3 of my job scope will be handling application, 1/3 is handling customers, more to customer service and 1/3 is to do something on system testing.

Anyone mind to share what is the system testing all about?

Yeah, applied for trainee credit analyst.

My story is quite complicated. I went to interview on 29th March then i received a call frm them on 31st March asking my preferred location.

Then on this Monday they actually called me but i did not pickup, sleeping hehe then nobody called back. So i called back them today and was connected to the manager and she personally asked me to actually come for interview on Friday.

Thanks!
All the best to you too! Normally it will take them 1-2weeks to come out with the results, keep checking your mail, if you did not receive any rejection email then you are safe!
Yeah i told them my first preference will be in HQ, think you actually can learn more in HQ as well.

BTW, anyone can help on the department for 20th floor in Menara PBB?

Yeah no rotation for pbb, this is the main difference between pbb and other banks because I did ask them this question.
They told me that by rotating in different departments for 1 or 2yrs the candidates can't actually learn things in depth and moreover you will not have the chance to select which department you would love to join but for pbb they will ask you what is your interest and they will try to place you in the department you wish to go in.

This is what they told me during my first interview with pbb. And as I know there are 2types of MT, one is related to sales and another one is nonsales. Management trainee can be in any department, I applied for trainee credit analyst but end up they offer me graduate trainee in crm and product development. So I think they will place you accordingly. Not just limited to credit analyst only.

Not necessary because mine was quite short, i remember when i come out another candidate asked "wah you so fast one" haha.

Er i think it depends on individual because there are lotsa of HR ppl interviewing the candidates, just pray hard you get a nice one!
I think there will be 2 interviewers interviewing you at the same time. Just try to be humble and give response to whatever they tell u (;

Be ready for situational and technical question~ they will give u a scenario and ask how u going to handle it...after u answered, then they will ask again (why, how?)

General question like tell me about yourself (automatically introduce yourself if they are silenced once u enter) , what is your strength, etc...generally will no ask.
*
In my case they dint ask me technical questions, more to standard questions that you will encounter in any interviews.
Maybe because i am not major in finance / banking, my piece of advice, i think its better for candidates to go thru the website and equip self with all the technical question if you are major in banking or even you are not.
I myself applied for trainee credit analyst and i basically studied some of the basic 5Cs' as well and the process in approving loan, just in case.

Situational problem is when they give you a scenario, you are asked to solve and explain in your own way according to the situation given. Basically they just wanna test your problem solving skill.

CGPA is not the main concern since you are already in second upper, i got lower CGPA than you but they offered me the job.

They took 3weeks to call me back because i went to 2 interviews - first with HR then with department manager.

Take the initiative to call them back! Good luck!
