went for an interview with Public Bank and i got a very good call today. all i can say is the interviewers are very nice people. you have to be nice too.
Important tips: 1) Speak with CONFIDENCE. live and breathe it! 2) Speak with proper english, practice at home 1st before you attend the interview. (think of what questions they will ask)
in my experience: HR asked behavioural questions to get to know you Management asked more technical questions
All the best to all and have a blessed week

well, you'll definitely be interviewed by the managers after passing the 1st interview with HR because they're the ones who are recruiting. they would want to evaluate the potential(or lack thereof) of future staff.
thanks a lot, did you apply btw?

yeap, i majored in finance. i'm not sure whether they accept or not but if you're up against another candidate with a banking/finance major, you're at a disadvantage. besides, a dealer has to have some knowledge on treasury management. AFAIK, there are two departments, one's corporate sales and another interbank.

@jellypie, it takes 2-3 weeks? boy, that's pretty long. if they told you so, maybe you should wait. although i dont see any harm in calling, it shows you're a go-getter.
@Livinglife, good on ya, all the best for friday! Like i said, the manager's the one who will be your boss, so being interviewed by them is kinda understandable. i dont get why people will be offered the job after the 1st interview because that's just with HR but how about your direct boss whom you'll report to?

I've been working for couple of months now and i can safely say the interview at pbb is not as tough or redundant as others, just behaviour questions from hr and then with the manager. In my case there was no blue form and questions werent really tough.
