I went to the interview last Friday and the manager told me there is no vacancy for Trainee Credit Analyst for now.

I get offer for the Trainee Credit Analyst last two weeks. May i know what is the job scope for this position? Working environment in branch and stress level? Sifu pls guide.. thanks!

The whole interview process of mine took about 3weeks, so just be patient ya!

They call me 5 days after i submitted the resume (career fair). Based on my observation on 3 of my friends, both of them got cgpa below 3.0, the job offer to them is about sales. Even u submit the cover letter claiming that u want non-sales, at the end, they will offer u sales job also.
Then your choice to accept or reject.
Hope u got different case from my friends =)

got the call to go for an interview, the person who called was aware that i'm not applying for a sale position
however, the position is unknown yet since i only indicated a non sales position and more to operations (deposited my resume during career fair)
they say will see what is right for me during the interview.

after reading some comments here, some said they will offer you position involving sales after the interview, is that true?
and how likely was that gonna happen, don't want to go all the way there and got into sales in the end

i went for the jobstreet one, din submit mine back in campus, u got the call too?
then wat u answered? thought you could indicate the position you are interested at first?

went for public bank management trainee last week, so many candidates.
the chances is very low for me i think...
haiz... the interviewers were nice and asked me to wait for 2 weeks .

from the way they talk, i think i completely no choice.

Actually my interview was scheduled to be this wednesday, but then today the hr personnel called me and changed it to the 18th... they say will email me the details again within this week... i heard the hr lady mentioned to put me into the 2.30pm timeslot... i applied for management trainee... dunno if they are going to put me into sales position... oh and im from kl

one tip. dun park inside the HQ building..it cost rm3 per hour...damn costly i tell u.u will spend at least 2 hours inside as there're lots of candidates. after interview..wait for like 3 to 4 days n u shud get the job offer if u r qualified

Be ready for situational and technical question~ they will give u a scenario and ask how u going to handle it...after u answered, then they will ask again (why, how?)

General question like tell me about yourself (automatically introduce yourself if they are silenced once u enter) , what is your strength, etc...generally will no ask.

mine was like less than 15 minutes in the room.extremely short, mayb they r rushing for lunch hours? cz i'm the last candidate of the session.
there r 2 ladies inside, one do the asking, another do the watching. and like mls said, they will giv u few situations and ask u how do u handle it. mine was fully focus on situational question..strength n weakness n family background..just a very brief one.

Agree with LivingLife, even you are not banking/finance background (like me - Business background), you should know some of the technical questions.
For example, in my interview, they ask what documents the borrower (loan) have to prepare, then they ask bout 5C (as i apply for trainee credit analysis). Then from 1 of the " C " >> character, they ask me how to verify a person or evaluate a person given that u heard from rumor the borrower is a big gambler.

About the general question or standard question, i remember they only ask me one, that is "what thing u need to improve"...in other word, what is your weakness and how u improve it.

Situational problem is when they give you a scenario, you are asked to solve and explain in your own way according to the situation given. Basically they just wanna test your problem solving skill.

hello all, mind asking how do u guys apply for this management trainee programme??

I apply for management trainee...1 of my friend already got the job...she going to interview last 2 weeks & after 1 week, they offered her a job...during the interview, she is the last person to be called & she is the fastest (only 10 min. compare to others)...she will start work on 13 June & will be paid RM2800 & also based at HQ (KLCC)...btw, her background was science & not related to banking at all...
