my friend just upgraded his desktop system to:

1) Intel C2D e4500 2.2ghz
2) ABIT Fatality IN9 SLI
3) OCZ SLI READY DDR2-6400 1GB X 2
4) GIGABYTE 9600GT X 2 (SLI MODE ENABLED)
5) PC POWER AND COOLING 750W SLI READY PSU

i think the other hardwares no need to mention them here... because all he want to know is how high and efficient he can OC his rig now...

I have experience OC the DDR1 systems.... but I dunno how to do so using DDR2.... no experience.... so please OC sifoos... please contribute your valuable and highly confidential information...

anyway, it wont oc far unless you dont mind zapping a large amount of volts, prepared to do that?

The processor should be changed. E4 would be bottlenecking the graphics' performances.

cpu is fine. only after ocing la

else it just suxxors, even a q6600, e8400 and e6xxx would still bottleneck if it is left at stock speeds.

Nope, it wont bottleneck as much as E2 and E4 due to their large cache size.

I totally agree with Bryan and Silver on this. I dont see a reason of u choosing c2d 4500 when u doing an sli. UNLESS you r going to OC it. And yes to agree again your hardware.... -edited-. period! Nothing great la, and honestly u dont need a special thread just for this. Use the existing threads.

actually i know how to OC basically... im been doing that with my 2.4c p4....
but i dunno what setting is the best for my friends ram and the abit board... i dont have too much time for trial and error.... cabut jumper pasang balik cabut lagik.... if anyone using fatality.... or similar chipset board with high performance ddr2 and with such processor... how high can u go??? that is with stock cooling....
