Yeah. I guess it just makes me sad it happened is all. With all the google-earth like screenshots, it really looked ready to wow.

Truth be told, looking at the way HAWX is designed. It's probably better to use the 360 controller.

You would have your hands wrapped around that joystick if u were to be adjusting the throttle frequently , which I guess U would in this kind of game , it isn't a commercial plane simulator , where the thrust lever just stays there

Stick with the controller is my suggestion

i would recommend the one that was for ace combat .

it was in fact a saitek x45 i believe.

i would love to have a stick to play this game too but i feel the saitek av8r is just not suitable. i'll just stick to my faithful airbus sidestick . heheh .

The Ace Edge is based on the X45, but minus a lot of the extra buttons. Only bad thing about it is the rudder controls, which is a rocker button mounted on the throttle, and the use of a single spring on the stick.

It must be that joystick or can I just plug in any saitek joystick?

PC sticks doesn't work unfortunately. Doesn't really matter anyway. Console sims are not that hardcore till u need that level of precision yet.....

...until they release Il-2 for the 360.

Love the detailed map and graphics in the demo. Almost crashed into Jesus in Rio.

However, I need to sort out the objectives in order of priority. Was shooting at everything and anything in sight last nite without any clear direction of which is primary and secondary objectives. too much banter over the radio, couldnt pay attention while avoiding hostile missles.
