We should all settle on a date where we can have some good fun , the other day , it was just the 3 of us , not even enough to divide into two equal teams
Novalogic has a pretty accurate representation of flight dynamics and aircrafts so that's good. i remember the Comanche game. That was a hoot to play. Not so realistic that it takes the fun away but also not so arcadish that it makes it feel like ure actually flying the real thing...bear in mind flying a chopper is more challenging than flying a fixed-wing aircraft. With all its torque and cyclic it in itself is hard to keep the chopper in level flight and at a constant speed...wats more going nap of the earth with a freaking keyboard

. But the acquisition and weapon systems are simplified enuff u dun need to constants cycle from driving the beast and acquiring and shooting down targets

.
What abt pilots with the same level of skill going mano a mano in both the A-10 and F/A-18?

Added on March 9, 2009, 12:20 pmActually i disagree. For me, having a certain level of realism adds to the challenge. Not talking abt super realistic till the level of system checks, starting up ur aircrafts, taxing to runway and taking off (though to me is kinda cool, DCS BlackShark anyone?

), but more of a somewat realistic flight dynamics and maybe even aircrafts sticking to their own mission scopes(After all, in real life A-10's carry a maximum loadout of only 2 sidewinders and that for self-defense purpose. They are more suited for CAS and ground engagements...sorry MK just making a point not questioning ur piloting skills. Chalking up more than 10 kills in any aircraft is impressive in my books dy

)...but then, i've alwiz been a sim junkie....limited loadout, limited fuel, mid-air refueling, carrier landing and takeoff....accurate acquisition and weapon systems...all these give me the sim-gasm....kakaka.
Oh well , maybe I'm not so keen on Sim's since I work on Simulators day in and day out , but nevertheless , we all have personal preferences
