Wow, enjoyed ur Senn IE8 It's a monster, my most favourite IEM as well

best ting i've ever heard in my life...
got so many acces with it..no idea wat to use n wat nt...
now need to find a more easier case to carry in pocket...

Yup, but mine is no longer the virgin IE8 , mine has been recabled with silver cable by EFN. Carrying case? The aluminum case provided is the best carrying case IMO. I've tried a few IEMs and honestly speaking, the IE8 is the best universal IEM for me. It's as gd as the Senn HD650(Full sized headphone), just that the HD650 has larger soundstage and btr in a few other aspects Also enjoyed playing around with the bass-knobs

da allu case they gave is gonna look weird carrying in a pocket...
maybe for me la...
was used to a vmoda pouch...small n cute,
i'll see how the alu one fits in...

I'm also using this Razer carrying case to keep the Senn IE8, it's given when I bought the Razer m250 clip-type headphone last time, it's pretty handy. It has few compartments where I can put my Sony X series inside, and it's soft which is an advantage since it won't b bulky if you put it inside ur pocket, but I don't dare to place the bass adjuster a.k.a the wax cleaning tool inside bcoz I'm afraid that it might break if I do so xD

Added on October 25, 2009, 11:00 pmHaha, Beats by Dr. Dre's headphone is kinda a pain in the a** It's nowhere near the Senn IE8. Beats by Dr. Dre is not even an audiophile headphone based on HeadFiers. I personally went and auditioned the headphone as well, the headphone is really bad, the bass is bloated, not controlled IMO, the sound of the vocalist is veiled, thus low in clarity, basically nth is gd in that headphone except its design It's just a marketing gimmick strategy. The Monster Turbine is pretty gd according to Head Fi reviews and from Xandman, I nvr try it tho but I don't think it can touch Senn IE8.

which one are you saying....the in ear by dre beats...is not good...even vmoda is better...but the headphones are superb...i try it in machines..and one the music industry guy(DJ T-BONE) is using...and his comment is also good.well let me try the IE-8...and come to a conclusion...

I'm talking about the Beats studio, the full sized headphone. If the big one can't even touch the Senn, don't think the brother can do so(tell you if I got it). Haha, don't read comments by those ppl, they're paid large amount for the biased comments. Go ahead and read in Head-Fi then you will know how bad the headphone got criticized. Yes, you should purchase the Senn IE8 and gv it a try, it's around RM14xx, I'm sure you will find out the answers then.

im getting either RE0 or phonak this year 1st... maybe i'll get my ie8 next year...

U got tat right. When I was deciding to get one, I was down to ie8, tf10 and se530. Then I got to know se bass wudnt be up to my liking and it was ie n tf in da ring. Went with ie.
I hv a feeling we r going off topic n our posts mite be nuked. Or r we allowed to talk abt it Here, boss(es)?

Occasionally I think it's okay to discuss, it ain't really tht OT since we're taking about choosing the rite IEM, worse still just let them nuke it xD You made the rite decision in picking up IE8 boss, coz according to one of the LYN member who owns the TF10, the bass is not strong, it's about the same as the Klipsch Image X10 that I owned before and I can tell you that the X10 is only gd in mid bass but you can hardly hear the low bass. I heard there's fitting issue with the TF10 as well. The sound signature is also bright type whereas the Senn is dark and warm,so you won't b fatigued listening for hours. That's rite, Senn IE8 , always a smarter choice

P/S: If budget allows, get the Sony X series, paired it with Senn IE8, you're in heaven

exactly bro...i was told the same ting abt tf10...fitting issues n the bass...
i was lucky to hv picked ie8..
sony x series, the walkman? at the moment im gonna use them with my iphone..mite add smting later...
btw bro...u using any amp? n the cabling u did, does it do any improvement or its just da same?
