Went to 1U today, and wanted to watch "The Dark Knight" (round 3 - but accompanying my friend who hasn't seen it yet) but its still sold out! WTF?!

Ended up watching "21" instead.

Anyway, same spot, no more "Batpod" standee! Instead, they have this:

Can't really remember what Bravia model it was but - boy did it look good. It looks so clear but it kinds of gives off that "fake" vibe. Really weird

Broccoli & Cheese Soup -
Finally got to taste this - been recommended by my sister numerous times and everytime I go there, I don't order it. I like cheese but I'm not a fan of vegetables Thick and gooey. Yummy and comes with 2 crackers.



Triple Play -
The Blue Cheese dip for the Buffalo wings was a little tame - the one at TGIF's has more "oomphh" and little chunks of Blue Cheese too. This one's just like a sauce.



Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers -
After such a long time, Chilli's finally has some new items on their menu (5 new items I think) - ordered this Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers. It wasn't bad, but the taste reminds me of chinese food.

Finally got to try Tony Roma's for dinner today at Cineleisure. It was a pleasant dining experience.

Lighting conditions weren't ideal for clear pics but, places like TGIF's, Chilli's etc seem to have the same kind of interior lighting. Dim. Maybe for that "romantic" feel for couples?

Very generous with the sauces - I think every table that orders the steaks/ribs gets one of these on their tables. Like the Smokey version the most. Honey BBQ is a tad sweet, and the Original BBQ tastes too much like ketchup.



My extra "Blue Cheese Crust" to go with my steak and ribs combo. Cost an extra RM 5.90 for that but oh so good I love cheese!

Dessert - Tony Roma's Chocolate Avalanche

Food was good but can't say it was exceptional and I would go there again. Serving sizes were just right, didn't feel stuffed and bloated. Waitress made recommendations for starters (Onion Loaf - 1/2 serving) when we asked how big it was. Stating that if we all had our own main courses, the 1/2 Loaf is enough for 3 people.

Good and speedy service for a Saturday night

Bill for 3 people, including drinks and dessert was RM 198.

Yeah I know, heard the signature Pork Ribs are the best. Sadly we don't have that in Malaysia. I've been living in Kota Damansara for a few years and have not been to Tony Roma's since it opened. Thought I'd give it a go instead of the usual Chilli's or TGIF's this time.

And I'm ashamed to admit it but the last time I was in Singapore was probably about 20 years ago

I know some of you love cars.

As I was coming back from work on Saturday evening, I saw a Ford Mustang going in the opposite direction! Didn't have time to take a pic.

First one I've seen in Malaysia so far. It looked like it was Navy Blue with White Racing stripes down the middle of the roof and hood of the car.

Anyone else seen it before?

I knew it was more for seafood (shrimp) lovers and I'm not one. Just thought maybe there was something special there. Would like to try their Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae though
