When is the Wendy's in Jaya One gonna open?

good question - i saw the banner all over the place but when i drove by i don't see any sign of it. maybe the inner part, i drove pass can see Old Town only.

lol...so much debates about the burger to the donuts...

i personally think all this are due to the influential of branding and creating a image for everyone.. at the end of the day after certain of years the quality drops. for instance burger king.. when first came to m'sia the whooper was super.. now its horrible and the patty has shrunk..

last time m'sia had wendy's too then all outlets closed down. and now they are back again.. carls jr was already well established in singapore and has only step in to malaysia recently.

they do know that pple today has more income to spend unlike last time.. the generation today love all this food and thats why its all in the hype now and more n more other brands are re-establishing its image.

Mcdonalds are renovating one by one of their outlets...adding in new plasma tv and all .. why ? to create a new ambiance for the younger generation to hang out to watch football wt the free flow of coke.


donuts .. what about it .. imho, i still like big apple.. besides j&co is less sweeter but the Q turns me off each time im in pavillion i look at the crowd i just walk off. i think sooner or later krispe kreme would step in too..

and peeps who stays around PJ area.. wendy's is open in JAYA 1 already..

overall..wendy's is almost the same price as burger king... the unique thing about Wendy's is they make SQUARE patties and not the classic ROUND patty...

Ive tried all .. frm mcd to carls.. all have different taste and different choices of burgers from cheap to expensive.. the proportion it depends on how hungry you are...

i still love chillis burger as they ask how do i want the patty do be done.. well done, medium well, or medium rare.. that choice still keeps me in awe wt the price to pay for carls i rather go chillis ~

Wendy's Burger are not that bad.
But Carl Jr's one are better =)

WENDY's indeed staging a comeback in Msia.
however, my previous experience in that outlet in Sunway Pyramid proved to be
a mediocre meal. The jacket-baked potatoes are nice, and filling. the chilli beans OK, but the burgers
were too dry and nothing special. though how they cut them into squares is
a novelty.

For me Wendy n Cr junior are overrated

Still, Carl's top my list.

WHo remember WHite Castle? those square beef buns? those were delicious.. I wonder why they went brankrupt ... It was quite good... I dunt think Malaysians would hate it. sad..

I think Wendys is awesome and would continue to buy it f it were not for the cost

i like Carl Jr's as well but i dont think any burger joint is over rated each have their own strengths and weaknesses .

I ate at Wendy's Jaya1 and swore I will never eat Wendys again.

Fish burger - McD still the best. Their fillet taste as bad as those we buy from the frozen food dept in any supermart.

Fried chicken - So so but not good enough for fast food chain. I prefer A&Ws.

Potato - So so only.

Bro, if not wrong, Wendy's is famous for their beef leh.
For me Fish burger i prefer A&Ws
McD's Chicken burger and KFC's Chicken.
But Beef, I opt for Wendy, like it since I tried it.

Wendy's beef / chicken burger is better than mcd's imho

at least the beef is real beef like burger king not the flour + beef spare parts of mcd's
