i call those annoying, cheap, custom-installed, not approved, headlamps as eye-shooting HIDs, real term i duno wat is that called.. reason for me saying its "eye-shyooting" is because it shines directly, with super bright lights, into incoming drivers' eyes..
*
lolz eye shooting lolz.

its misaligned headlamps.
and has nothing to do with being cheap or expensive units. all HID's are bright. if they aren't it defeats the purpose of calling it high intensity.
AFAIK none of the HID's are approved by jpj. thats why they're all out catching.

btw sonic / andyjy - post u all my low beam later after grocery shopping.

Is it possible that sometimes those people with blinding white lights are not using Xenon but cheap white bulbs instead?  You know la... can't afford it but want to look like having it...

Anyway - those JPJ people should really go after those killer bus drivers instead... we always have a couple of cases every year of buses involved in accidents on highways and killing people then they say the drivers have 40 summonses and so and so...
*
yeah... even normal yellow halogen can be glaring if not adjusted properly..

ok.. this is my pattern.. not not shooting in a proper place...

JPJ only interested to go after illegal mods rather than going after bus drivers with huge summons and bad records. They don't care if 100 people die from bus accidents.

i don think it comsume more battery also
n no heat on headlamps compare to normal halogen lamps n stil brighter

if wanna change
i think some guys selling in autonotivegarage less than 200

if wan good then go for hav warrenty 1 lo
at least when the bulb spoiled stil can exchange under warrenty

go for 4300k o 4800k liao la
since jpj wanna kacau kacau the special colour 1

4800k is cool la coz like water hav layers when looking from different angles
