Recession is already happening now hence by q3 2024 will be recovery time heading into it hence why 2025 is the right time

On 7 Mar 2024, Genting Berhad’s 20%-owned TauRx will present full results from its Phase 3 LUCIDITY trial of HMTM that is designed to combat Alzheimer’s disease. It has initiated regulatory engagement in the United Kingdom and the United States for product approval.

Under a ‘blue sky’ scenario where HMTM is approved and TauRx is valued at USD15b with no discount ascribed to it, Maybank IB says GENT TP could be raised to MYR9.40. As for now the house estimates MYR5.73 TP unchanged but encourages investors to BUY now to position ahead.

If you bought GENM 10 years ago, until now will be still licking the wound. Same apply to other Genting stock like Genting, Genting Plantation and Genting Singapore.

You are lucky to bought it in 2019, if bought in 2014, you will lose more. This kind of companies doesn't bring value to minority shareholders. Only the boss is making money.

In terms of Genting, still very far from their pre-covid. If you have bought during covid lows then will have returns, as gaming stock on overall is recovering.
