Oh shite! That looks like the 28-300 lens. I like.

Here's something i took yesterday. Just got a 70-200 is f4. Im very impressed with the speed it offers. Before this, i bought the 70-200 IS f2.8L.. had it for one day.. sold it off, cause the weight really turns me off..





Guys, does anyone of you have this problem.. seems like whenever i upload my pic to flickr.. the colours are automatically adjusted.. to a more greyish mood.

u sold out ur 70-200 f/2.8???
Maybe u take outdoor photo not need f/2.8.
From me f/2.8 is really important.
I dun care the weight but i love the blur blur and sharp sharp image.
Btw my size is big and my height is 6 feet.
F/4 not enough lah.
Slow during low light condition.

Have to agree with you.. but i seldom do lowlight hunting.. unless i wanna shot in chow kit.. Weight for me is important.. imagine you bring around that weight running around when you are traveling.. sigh..

can u compare with ur f/2.8 lens.
I think is much sharp that the f/4

Sharpness in daylight i dont see any difference.. what f2.8 offers me is nicer (muccch nicer) bokeh..

Maybe not different.
Cause i still not yet try this lens.
Previously i had Sigma 24-70 f/2.8. The image is sharp at f/2.8.
But now is more sharp and fast when i had my latest lens 24-70mm f/2.8L USM.
So happy.

Ya man, that's the exact same reason I went with f4 coz I'm gonna carry it while on holidays n jalan jalan. I didn't wanna be burdened by the 1.5kg Howitzer. But I took non IS though coz I figured I will oni use it in the day, walk aorund with big white lens at night while overseas is a pretty scary thought. I will most likely get the f2.8 IS too but that's gonna sit at home n come out to play occasionally only.

For me, weight is no a problem.

As long as i can get a good quality photo.

I will carry 10 weight walking around.

I think on many sites you can see that the f/4 IS is by far the sharpest 70-200L Canon has ever produced. Too bad it's not fast enough for low light, otherwise it'll be the king of all
