yeap it is true thast u cant get the 7-day satisfaction if u get the free m,odem...

wat i suggest is this...u get their normal package 1st..test for 7-days...then return b4 tyhe 7 days...

then subscribe their free modem package...if u are happy with the testings... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

cant reli blame them for trying to be over pursuasive...they oso in business mah...laugh.gif at least they are not ass arsehole as those TM people...

yeap..i tink the warranty will be void...or maybe not?..not reli sure...but it doesn't matter...cos its FREE and if u intend to unlock means tat u dun intend to subscribe to maxis...so y bother with warranty...

youth plan>?..there's no contract to it...u just pay RM78 upfront...then on the second month, u only pay Rm18.00...*they wanna u to pay the upfront Rm78.00 no matter wat...no nego on tat*

tat means u are incline to subscribe for at least 2 months lah...so u mite as well get their 3 months plan and get the free E220 modem...but ur monthly data limit would be limited to juz 1.5gb..

then after the 3 months, u juz sell off the modem lah..can get at least Rm120 for the E220 modem... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

just to try out different service provider...was with digi...satisfied too..now with maxis...ok pun...i try the 1 month youth packagge...cos they tell me no more stock for the modem... tongue.gif

anyway, just a casual observation tat i made the other day at maxis...

they are now offering free modem for 3 and 5 month subscription...

BUT THEN...ALL AROUND MALAYSIA, most of the maxis center tell u they outta stock..or the stock not yet come (dunno when come)=same effect as no stock lah...including the one in my area..tats y i take their 1 month package 1st..

so, wat's the point of having a promo when they dun have enuf modem to go around with?...its like saying "i have a lot of money, but rite now i dun have any money with me..." shakehead.gif

juz some casual observation...anyway, the promotion is said to end today (30 Aopril2010)...let's see if suddenly they got stock onot... tongue.gif

am subscribed to the youth lite package...Rm48 for 2GB data limit... tongue.gif

actually my intention is to take the 3 or 5 month package with free modem...but then they tell me no modem...i somehow felt cheated u know...laugh.gif

I get the information from the Maxis service shop in my area.
At 1st, they told me that there's no stock and if i want i have to go to Maxis HQ in Ipoh. So my dad asked phone number of Ipoh HQ and when we called it , found that the number is not available . So the next day went back to that Maxis shop again, then they said that the promotion already extend to end of May and the stock shall be available by next week and asked us to leave them our contact number that once got stock they will call us and went home. After about an hour , receive call from maxis saying there's a stock lol.. A customer had being blacklist so his/her modem become ours and they asked us want or not the modem. That's how i got my modem  smile.gif

About the maxis promotion extention , it was Maxis told me and i just share with you all, don't blame me if there's any mistake >.<

got a question here...

let's say i wanna terminate my package, no contract....

my billing date is 28 of every month...

Q1: Do i have to go to Maxis center a few days earlier to inform them that i wanna cancel my account and ask them not to bill?..say like 5-6 days before billing date?..

Q2: or can i just go on the 27th and ask them to cancel my account immediately?..which my billing date is the next day, 28 of every month...

pls advise...
