if i subscirbe to maxis broadband shall i subsribe a postpaid line too? Anyway, how many days you all took to finish the 1.5GB cap ?

If it's me... few hours can finish tongue.gif. I just plan to get it because of the good offer for the free modem, but without the E1762, I won't be getting it.

You should be automatically subscribed to a postpaid line, but I'm not sure whether you can make calls and sms with it.

E220 is working perfectly actually... just that maxis gave me zte instead of E1762 because out of stock... Why did they choose to give a replacement which does not even worth the same? something's fishy...
*
just go complaint lol..

The thing is... it is the same... except from different brand, different producer etc. I still can't find a major difference between the two. It could be the ZTE is just a replacement.

@cruxidex,

3200kbps? That's like 320KB/s, but your speedtest shows 0.6MBps?
*
mean 3.2mbps..

Somehow, I think maxis resellers will have stock for E1762... their main centre might not have the stock though.

i think you are asking postpaid plan + data ( mobile internet ) plan, 1 sim card on the phone, use phone for web,email,etc....
maxis call it mobile internet.
http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/mobile/br...p?iStruct=0:4:5
what i know is this plan do not have any promotion,
eg RM88 for 3GB quota.
take note that the mobile internet will charge after exceed quota.

T&C
For postpaid customer:
The session will not be disconnected.
Subsequent usage after 3GB will be
charged at 0.05 sen/KB but charges will
be capped at a maximum charge of
RM250 per bill. This applies for 500MB
and 1.5GB passes as well.

So unless you buy iphone, blackberry from them, they got many package bundle postpaid with data.

i believe maxis will launch another package for postpaid, because digi just promote the new RM68 internet smartplan for postpaid, call charge seperately.
