probarly that's not what the director was trying to focus on,...simple scenes explain lots when Keanu says that he isnt here to save the human race, but earth itself.

I say This movie is much much better then Armageddons and Deep Impact in terms of delivering the message of the movie.

Armageddon show off a bit of Nasa/America saving the world bla bla bla with thier technology, while this movie shows u no matter how powerfull u are u wont save anything by ego alone.

some people here say the message is very clear, and i can't argue with that. Humans are ignorant to the very end and we've been taught since young that we are more superior compared to other living beings on earth. But that doesn't make a movie good. The execution was poor, the overall acting was plausible at best, and with some extra redundant bullshit added with modern CGI - you get a 2008 remake.

simply put this movie is a mess. Jumper had a similar message as well - selfishness in humans. but i believe everyone saw the final product (which is horrible)

The idea is not new, when going into the cinema, I pretty much very sure that this movie is going to talk about, even though i didn't read the synopsis nor watching the trailer. The title already explains it.

But I come to watch this movie because I want to see how the human react to the so call end of the world... but it does not stress that. Ya i love that robot too, I think it's a symbolism to the voice of earth. Human are trying to destroy it but failed, so he got too angry and fight back.

Actually I don't really like they mentioning too much about US this and that.

I expect more visual excitement at first, but it showed less...

The message of the movie is clear, but the presentation is so so only.

Very good and meaningfull movie, enjoyed it and recommend to all. Earth don't belong to us. It belong to all life form. We need to save earth from humans. Absolutely true.

Please watch this not as an action movie.

totally agree... it gimme impression of rush project, and trying to drag the time... especially the almost ending scene, it shows all the mechanical stuffs stopped, at 1st, i was like... oh ok... and then.... hmm i get it... and....OK OK I GOT IT ALREADY!!

there are some part of the movie tat is reali nice while majority of it is just passable.

the first half was quite good i think.

. I thought those are nicely done.

the 2nd half kinda lost it.

kinda average standard hollywood issue sci-fi. start wif potential but the finishing is kinda dissapointing. never saw the original so i dunno how close this one is to the original.

i just watched the movie...as for me,i think it is quite meaningful and exicting because of the graphic and sound effects in the cinema...the movie try to warn us about the climate effects and environmental problems which we had recently...if we dont act fast,i do believe that our planet will end up somedays just like in the movie...my overall rating for this movie is 8/10...

damn... mix review from everyone.... maybe i'll go for Bolt instead

just watched it.. overall i feel nothing special, but the meaning is clear. i give 3/10...and
