Thanks for smartly rejecting the idea because you probably don't own an iPhone. It makes me feel that people that voted for "NO" are really selfish because they do not understand other's need.
When i suggested Geminist to look at the poll! I was referring to the amount of people that voted Yes.
With that amount of users voted yes, thats a reason.
I'm proposing a Second-Level Subforum to be placed within Apple Byte area!
We're all gathered in this great forum made for tech enthusiast and from my interpretation iPhone is the latest hype in town (pretty much for every other tech savy folks/apple fanboy). With the impressive growth rate of iPhone owners in Malaysia and with the forum made available in Lowyat, this will probably become the #1 local iPhone community, indirectly increasing the user count and on the other end, adding an a ready made area for any other existing users who may be here for some other interest at the moment.
iPhone Club thread is also an obvious proof for its demand. I would compiled you a list of users who have posted in iPhone Club thread if you wish so. I'm looking at least a couple of thousands of users participating there.

Slow & Safe business model:

Innovative business:

Creating a proper subforum area allow discussion to be made in well organized manner.
Preventing question from being repeated because users can't find what they were asking
- they were hundreds of pages away or probably in another iPhone Club thread)
- browsing through all the replies on each page to find out which user is replying to you.
Making it possible to have a suitable pinned topic within iPhone subforum for instance, Eg: Application review list, Accesories list, Jailbreaking method list, etc.. (Apple byte will be free of iPhone)
Benefit of an organized iPhone subforum subsequently bring the benefits the rest of the Apple Byte users.
In my opinion, making more subforums may divert the users but in some way it might group the users of the same interest (isn't this a tech enthusiast forum)!
If you do think that the reason that I've given above is invalid, would you then consider placing Apple's gadget in a sub, namely iPod Touch&iPhone.
Thank you.
