QUOTE(naz_b_85 @ Mar 27 2008, 11:49 AM) Now it's tricky when to sell the O n G counters. Theres political turmoil coming soon out of t'ganu and KK etc and US seems to be set to tumble again tonight but this also means that O n G might go up abit on the weakening dollar. Any advise guys on when to sell my O n G? Better run while you can, while taking the booties. Nowadays market safer for short term gains Added on March 27, 2008, 11:50 amYeah the earliest you can sell to get the dividend is on ex-date but the price has been corrected dy that morning so you'll be selling lower than the previous day -dividend. |

QUOTE(aretla @ Mar 27 2008, 03:28 PM) no. i mean alivecmh & dsugums... Most of the active stocks are the goreng type. I prefer to make some cash and wait in the sideline. My bluechips are still red (TM and Tenaga). Blue chips are still red mostly. There are not many big players coming in. EPF, ASB and Tabung Haji has not made any major move yet. Not sure why they are staying on the sideline.
Index mostly pushed up by retail players This post has been edited by dsugums: Mar 27 2008, 03:43 PM |

415 GMT [Dow Jones] Ladang Perbadanan Fima (5851.KU) +3.6% at MYR4.04 in heavy volume and may yet rise to MYR4.20, the price/share offered by KL Kepong (2445.KU) unit Ablington in general offer for 32%; will have to extend general offer for remaining 52.6% it doesn't own. LPF deals in oil palm cultivation and sale of crude palm oil and palm kernel; has palm oil mill and 8,171 hectare plantation landbank which synergistically located near KLK's own plantations.
