Hi all,

Anyone can help me? Normally when we install a application, we would be able to delete/uninstall the application via pressing/holding the icons for a few secs, then select the 'X' at the top corner.

In some applications (eg Call Me), I am unable to do so as there does not appear any 'X' once I hold the icons. For such cases, anyone can help how to delete or uninstall such application out of the phone?

callme is by cydia
u have 2 go 2 manage
then click on packages
look for callme
then modify on the top right corner
remove
poof gone

I had successfully installed various apps from Cydia and Apps Store (FOC). I rely on the apps already found in both Cydia and Apps Store.

After browsing through this whole thread, there are a couple of apps I would like to have as below;

1. iSMS
2. Squid
3. iLog
4. SMSD
5. mobile Finder
6. AV Player
7. Any apps to secure certain docs or folders with password?


a. Again, forgive me for asking how to get this apps as I tried finding it from Installer, Cydia and Apps Store but to no availability. Or is there any way to find those apps via this Installer, Cydia and Apps Store. I had always depended on this 3.

b. What is SSH that I have been reading about?

May i ask a question here?

I am bringing in a Spore set iPhone 16GB.

the service provider said that it can be used in Msia for most basic functions like calls and SMS. However, some "technical" functions like U-Tube does not work in Malaysia because it is "locked" to the service provider.

My worry > will other functions such as Internet, MMS be working fine in Msia for this Spore set?

I hope pals here will reply here, please. It is a decision time. Please help.

Your iPhone is the first gen right? I am having the same iPhone but I can use Youtube and I bought from S'pore as well.
Its not a matter of service provider I think. Its all about your wifi internet connection. Once you have wifi internet connection, you're set to go. Service provider has nothing to do with it. I hope that helped.

1. BiteSMS is good n free. Can forward and delete individual SMS. Now can send contacts no to anyone by sms. iRealSMS also good but its not free.

2. Use Mobile Finder in Cydia.

3. iLog is available in Cydia.

6. There is a few player that can play media i.e PwnPlayer (MPlayer), VLC4iPhone, DTunes

7. There an app in Cydia called Lockdown but its for password protecting apps, dunno about docs or folders.

P/S - Please refrain yourself from using Installer4 as it's very buggy and troublesome.
