True, consider this, I paid RM2.3K for a8gb iphone online purchase last February. Then got another 16gb one from the States at USD499 + 8.25% California state tax (USD41) = USD540 * 3.20 (exchange rate) = RM1,728. Added in a incase holster still below RM2K. So it is cheaper to get it from the States if you can get somebody to buy and bring it back for you. Courier is another option but that may set you back some more.
