not true. well, not wrong either but it really depends on the RAM specs.if you look at his rig, it's using E6750 with 1333Mhz FSB. on 1:1 FSB:RAM ratio the RAM will be operating at DDR2 667 speed.
so if the RAM is a DDR2 800 RAM. even overclocking the FSB to 1600Mhz on 1:1 FSB:RAM, the RAM will be operating at DDR2 800 speed which is only the default speed of the RAM.
in my case, i'm using DDR2 1066 RAM (yes, not kidding) so I really have to OC my processor to like what? 2000Mhz FSB already also still the run is running lower than it's default capable speed.
