QUOTE(kaka91 @ Sep 29 2008, 10:13 PM) it seems appropriate that the photo was taken just as they walked past the mclaren pit.=) was nice of the mclaren crew to let ferrari crew know that one of their drivers were stuck all alone at the end of the pits. i wouldn't have bothered! let massa rot there for all i care.lol i missed the part where McLaren crew told them about massa.... anyone has the video?? |

With ferrari powderful cars, Lewis can still lose the championship, Kovy need to play shotgun to Lewis...
This year i think only once he did help Hamilton, Kovy needs to be up there with hamilton to make any impact to this... |

Why do I always feel that Jenson Button is born to race in a McLaren car... I feel that when Jenson drives for the McLaren F1 team, he could win the world championship... !! I had this feeling in 2006.

QUOTE(azbro @ Sep 29 2008, 07:09 AM) Lewis and Vettel... I disagree. At the time Kimi was gone and they needed a driver that represent what Ron idea of what a McLaren driver should be. And only Lewis fits the bill at the time. Oh he might be young, but remember that he was blooded since a young age at McLaren. he knows all about the team, how the team works and stuff. That and his immense talent means that it was a no brainer choice. he has shown he can adapt to any kind of car in any kind of condition in both F3 and GP2. And he shows that during his initial year in 2007 when he can take any setup done by Fernando, and adapt it to his driving style and end up FASTER than even 'Nando himself can go. But actually, McLaren team is gambling on young drivers...lucky Lewis is performing, if it was Kov as the first driver and some no name as the second...McLaren will hit all time low. Vettel is good..need more time to see him perform. As for the remaining races...looks like McLaren car isn't performing as well as the Ferrari. They are eating tires. Lewis got no answer for it. Hamilton rear tires looked bold yesterday. I wouldn't think he can management to overtake rosberg if it mattered. Can I say Lewis was lucky due to the Ferrari mistakes? If the race had no incidents, I bet Massa would have been looong gone and Kimi breathing down Lewis neck and overtaken him. McLaren need to improve more.... On heikki, the team was banking on him to deliver because of the lack on traction control. As you might remember, GP2 has no traction controls, thus in theory, newer drivers from GP2 would adapt more easily to this compared to older drivers that had driven F1 years with TC on. All in all, Lewis outdrove the car this season. I don't care what people say that he is leading because he is in a fast car. The car is just a medium. The driver is what makes it fast. Vettel found that out in Monza. On other events. I feel that Massa has it coming in Singapore. Lewis had won in fair and square in Spa, and thus, call it divine intervention or god's will or anything. But what goes around comes around. |

Well yes, Massa is to be blamed for the 2nd incident but so is Ham for the 1st corner.
I'm really surprised at what he did at 1st corner, he was talking about how he learn to drive for points after SG GP but what is he doing at the 1st corner?Even Kov looks kinda surprised when Lewis steer his car like that He has to learn to be rational, not all emo when thing goes wrong. Compare to the other ppl that have been in F1 for years, he's done good. remember how Kimi was during his time at McLaren? The same as Lewis. Driving only to get wins, and not caring about anythign else. And pity Heikki, if he had finished, Massa would have no points |
