Victory's transformation is not that easy to replicate in MG form without sacrificing the articulation. The small size is one factor, the other one would be the complicated mechanism. Just watch how the V2 combines, it's really hard to replicate it in gunpla form while retaining the proportions and mobility.

For me I would sacrifice the transformation for articulation, just throw in a core fighter will do.

F = Space use. Note the small boosters at the calves. 2 in front, 2 at the rear.
J = Ground type. Smaller backpack, no boosters on the legs.
S = Commander type. Got horn 5 boosters (2 in front, 3 behind), larger booster backpack.
R1 = High mobility. Bigass backpack... chubby booster legs which impede articulation
R2 = Same as R1 but with even larger booster legs.

Even though it says 1/100, this has happened with Unicorn before. When the first prototype came out it only mentioned 1/100 but in the end we got an MG instead.

Ask the designer loh... for some unknown reason he made the GP01 wear sandals when it got upgraded. To be honest, I prefer the original GP01 without the awkward upgrades. The Full Vernien backpack looks like two lampshades while the shoulder boosters don't flow with the lines. And of course, the ronald mcdonald shoes.

Anyway... Astrea in 1/100 form.

Meanwhile, let's have a look at the HGUC Nu... OMFG... zero seam lines. There are still areas where the cut sprues are visible, but those are minor problems.

Of course. UC = WIN.

The reason why it looks so much better than HG00 is the price. You get what you pay for; and for the high price HGUC CCA gunplas are selling, the amount of detail is remarkable. The Dogas have a mini internal frame while the Nu has zero seam line gimmicks, not forgetting sheer size and bulk. The other HGUC lines are pretty much mediocre in terms of intricate details, but bear in mind they usually cost <1500 yen. (HGUC Acguy is WIN though)
