yea bought my second hand at rm700 last month... b4 upgrading the rom the phone hangs quite frequent.. but after upgrade it to winmo6.1 it become alot alot stable.. so far no serious issues like hanging or watsoever.. great phone! luv it!

hmmm so samsung center upgrade an outdated firmware for cd-x? LOL how can it be? I780PDXHI1 is winmo 6.1 am i rite? i can see that ur wifi version is 1.0.6.6 which is same wif mine...

last time before i flash my i780 to winmo 6.1 i download the WIFI patch and upgrade my wifi version to 1.0.6.8... but then after i flash it to winmo 6.1 i try to patch again.. the version remains 1.0.6.6... wierd..
any1 of u tried the wifi patch on winmo 6.1?

not sure bout tis.. but i780 is considered quite a rare phone here.. mayb not popular so the shop dun wanna bring in stock..

hmmm.. i think the price range shld be the same.. go check out the market price at garage sales 1st b4 u wanna buy.. i would recommend u to sell ur 5800 at garage sales 1st rather than trading in at shops...

u muz be outside wif clear sky in order to lock ur gps to the satellite...
for cold start it might need up to 5 mins to lock...
try again it shldn't be any problem...

or if u wan faster u can turn on the enhanced gps on the windows setting there.. but it will cost u wif the gprs charges..

mostly i search by the street name or the building name.. of course not every building name or POI available on the map.. do google up the street name it helps alot..

well tis is my current settings hopefully can help u...
program port GPD1
hardware COM9
baud rate 4800..
actually is the default setting..

then try tis setting on the Enhanced GPS
enable the XTRA
disable the auto download..

now connect to wifi internet..
click the XTRA data download...
if cannot download got error soft reset ur phone then try to download again..

go out try again... best if u r moving in car speed.. not too fast not too slow...

couldn't agree more... jz go to the samsung official website to download the latest version.. we talked about it few pages earlier.. the link is there..

well it depends on ur usage actually.. when i use wifi/gps or talk on phone for a long time.. it tends to get hot... i think its normal since it doesn't cause it to crash or anything..

at first i kinda dislike the ascending ringtone.. wat i do is i edit my ringtone n make the beginning (around 3 sec) louder.. but i change ringtone quite frequently so lazy to edit everytime.. might as well as get used to it...
